Week 7 concludes with the Patriots looking to remain undefeated against divisional “rival” New York who is coming off their first win of the season last week against the Cowboys. The Jets are better than their record simply because Sam Darnold being back and healthy gives them some real life at the QB spot on offense and overall I like their offense going forward if and when they get Chris Herndon back as well. But ultimately this is a spot that logically one has to say it’s not a great spot overall for New York against the Patriots stout defense.
VEGAS LINE INFORMATION
Patriots -10

GOOD SPOTS
Julian Edelman … The Patriots passing game will need to shine against the Jets defense which is more generous to passing than rushing and Edelman is the target monster who should get a slight boost even more so in scoring situations with Josh Gordon out tonight. Edelman probably is the most popular Captain play today as well.
James White … The other passing option for the Patriots tonight is actually out of the backfield. With Gordon being out I would lean on James White getting the MOST receptions boost for the Patriots today, but with the Pats they always tend to do smoke and mirrors with their running backs so buyer beware. White should get 5+ catches tonight.
VALUE TARGETS
Jakobi Meyers – WR – NE … Expect to see Meyers and Dorsett (if active) popular value plays tonight.
Patriots Defense
Jets Defense
Mike Nugent
You can expect to see more ownership on the kickers and defenses in this game with the lower total.
SNEAKY CONNECTION
The Sam Darnold to Jamison Crowder connection for the Jets sparks their offense. With Anderson and Bell getting all the attention tonight I trust Sam Darnold to connect with Crowder again this week. He went to him a decent amount last week vs the Cowboys and had a huge volume game with him in week one as well. This connection is strong and they’ll find ways to get Crowder a touchdown tonight, not Robbie Anderson or Lev Bell.
