The Slapshot – Feb 6th

It’s fucking hilarious to me the analysts who only write about NFL DFS who come out and act like they are inventing sliced bread every week when they do not have to deal with shit like Ryan Getzlaf being ruled out late on a Friday night.  Fortunately the mighty Derek Grant was able to fill in quite adequately and that game still went over.

Today only has four games on it as the NHL for some strange reason continues to just punt on Saturday nights.

There are two North games with Vancouver @ Toronto carrying a whopping 7 O/U and the Alberta battle between Edmonton and Calgary highlighting the four games.

The Sharks and Ducks will go at it again tonight in Anaheim and dare I say I like the visiting team in Long Island tonight?

Long Island Iced Tea (Penguins vs Islanders)

The Law firm of Barzal, Bailey and Lee with some Penguins PP exposure.

Iced tea sucks and so do the Penguins, but I think this makes for the best sneaky pivot game to look at today.  Don’t chase the Sharks/Ducks points that we stole last night as that game will be better played defensively today.  Instead look at the fact that the Law Firm should have a nice game today from the Isles side (Barzal/Bailey/Lee) as they re-united in the last game for over 60 DK fantasy points combined and should have a solid game here too.

Pittsburgh might be without Kris Letang which would be a big loss as he would be a top play tonight for only $5100 if he does go and the Isles PK hasn’t been stellar thus far so I like a goal from Jake Guentzel or Jason Zucker on the second PP unit.  Malkin-Zucker is a nice ES correlation.

Canucks vs Maple Leafs

Auston Matthews – Zach Hyman / Elias Pettersson 

Of the two Canada games tonight this one is just too hard to ignore and if you touched Edmonton/Calgary it would be the Calgary side IMO.  But we have an auto play right now with LW against the Canucks and forwards in general are just dominating them.  Zach Hyman is someone who should benefit from a SOG bonus tonight and between him and Nylander we have two high goal scored chances tonight IMO.  Expect another AM34 chalk night as he has 5 goals over his last four games including a couple against the Canucks on Thursday night in a 5-3 win.

On the flip side I want as much Elias Petterson and Quinn Hughes as you can get in targeting this game.
