What you need to know!
You really need to know this right here, so don’t skip it! I have run Appreciation contests in the past for Baseball and Football (and I think Hockey?) when I was with my previous site (Fulltime/Scout/SI)… It was my way of sending a thank you for those who have been loyal not just with reading the content but also sharing in that community aspect that many do. For me the goal is never to gain paying members who just pay directly to me and then I can turn around and go have success and post screenshots on Twitter to gain more members in the hopes of one day selling out to someone else for a big pay day. We each have our own ways to make money in this world and that path just isn’t my intention with this.
So, I’ll continue to do what I feel is right and that is give back to those who are part of the team with these contests as a season winds down. Given the calendar with MLB coming up I wanted to get the NHL one out of the way and even though it likely will be a small contest with a small group I hope you enjoy it all.
SLAP SHOT APPRECIATION CONTEST
The Details
- Three day contest that runs this Wed, Thu and Friday. I checked the NHL schedule and we have a 6 gamer, a big Thursday slate and then a nice 5 game slate on Friday. Perfect!
- Each day I will post the contest link in the Discord and in my article. Join it for free.
- Your total points scored across all three days will be used to determine the winner. There is a 5 point bonus for finishing first on a day. I’m just keeping it simple for now but plan to run some H2H/survivor style stuff for Baseball. Total points scored, so dont flop on the high scoring night!
- Only first place will receive a prize.
- The prize will be $100

TODAYS STACKS
Ten games tonight so lots of options out there.
New York Rangers
Noted last week how Panarin was starting to warm up and that bread looks mighty tasty again here tonight, but at $7600 he doesn’t factor into our builds for stacking purposes. With Zibanejad only $6900 and the Sabres being ATROCIOUS versus defenseman lately (all season really) we gotta start with a C&D build tonight and that would be Zibanejad + Adam Fox who combined give us a nice balanced start to any builds tonight. From there it’s gonna come down to paying up for the Rangers stack and finding value elsewhere or take the cheaper full stack of of Kreider and Bucknaked. Gimme some of the Duluth Buck Naked stack with Zibs-Kreider-Buchnevich along with Adam Fox.

Winnipeg Jets
It’s been a long long time since the Winnipeg Jets were the auto play stack every slate, but they’re bound to get going against Vancouver who is back to not stopping anything on defense. Really like this spot for Scheifele and Wheeler.

The sharks play zero defense. The Kings only have one line who does anything. So this is very simple, we’re either taking what should be a multi-point night from LAK1 or we’re riding with the Sharks Goalie (Projected to be Dubnyk).
