This is a good slate to take a pass on depending upon how much you played the early/afternoon slate today. The reason being is that it’s only six games with two of them having some significant rain concerns tonight. If those two games clear up then the slave improves dramatically.
WEATHER
- Athletics at Orioles – Rain – High PPD Chance because they can just make it up tomorrow with a double header. Oakland does not have a game on Monday as they’ll be in Tampa next (Tue) and the Orioles will be remaining at home Monday. So neither team should care much about having to play two on Sunday. Which also means we will have chased Olson/Chapman last night with no homers and then we’ll miss out on them tomorrow when neither game is on a slate. I can see this shit coming a mile away.
- Diamondbacks at Braves – Very similar situation only the rain might not be as lengthy so they could wait it out. But the D’Backs are OFF on Monday before returning home on Tue and the Braves remain at home on Monday night (Dear God wait until you see who they play. Fun…). Anyways, they could definitely just call the damn thing, which would be a big shame for us in DFS terms.

TREVOR BAUER
This has all the makings of a god damn epic battle tonight between Bauer and Snell. After last night which was a game I wanted the over in, we have these two meeting again like they did in a quiet game last Sunday but I strongly think Bauer gets overlooked for his $11,000 price tag (which is a joke. How the fuck is Bauer 11k on a 6 game slate and deGrom was sub 11k on the 14 game slate?). Take the safety net here.
DALLAS KEUCHEL
This game will finish 2-0 and no I don’t think Kyle Gibson can repeat what he did last Sunday. Keuchel won’t strike out a ton but for $6,300 we will need him if the Oak/Bal and Ari/Atl games are PPD — which means we have to jump over to Coors Field for offense.

RAIN GAMES …
Atlanta, Oakland, Arizona, Baltimore — in that order
Very simple. If they’re gonna clear up and play then this is where we want to invest in. For those who like to take risks you should stack Oakland+Braves and wait out any rain delays here because that would drive the ownership way down on them. Bumgarner is who he is at this point and in this ballpark against the Braves should be hoping for a rain out because the Atlanta offense has 2-3 homers in it. They broke the clean-up hitter curse last night and Marcell Ozuna is the top rated player in this game. I don’t hate using Arizona hitters either and if you are investing in the rain games you might as well be on both sides.
COORS
The weather is finally warming up in Coors Field and even though Nola is a great pitcher he can be hit a little tonight too. But the side you want to be on is obviously the Phils and even more reason to punt this slate if the two weather games are knocked off. Realmuto/Story/Blackmon
GIANTS
The Giants are the get different spot tonight. Lopez allows +.200 ISO to LH batters, so La Stella – Yaz – Dickerson – Belt right off the top of the order should give him trouble and it was a good sign to see Yaz get going last night. Love the Giants if the RAIN games get knocked out tonight.
