Lingering storms/showers in Minnesota – could cause some issues, but we have no pitching desires in this game.
LANCE LYNN
I expect Lynn to score over 30 DK points tonight and there is really nothing else to say other than play him.
FRAMBER VALDEZ
The safety net of picking on Texas with the roof closed outweighs some other secondary options tonight. Valdez was back on track last start with his curveball generating a 25% swinging strike rate and got 40% swings outside the zone from the Mariners. Texas isn’t much of a better lineup and so I would think he attacks them similarly.
JOSE SUAREZ
The reverse splits of Suarez should benefit him against San Diego and he has a really high K% pitchtype matchup against Tatis and two key lefties in this lineup, I wouldn’t expect more than a 16-18 point performance from Suarez tonight but it’s very reasonable and he’s a good lower $ pivot off Valdez as SP2.
WHITE SOX
Until they stop beating up the cross-town rivals, we should continue to hammer them. The long ball wins in DFS and the long ball is what they do every. single. time. they face the Chicago Cubs.
METS
Dominic Smith should be about 5% owned tonight at best, but he has been very good against LHP this year and will have plenty of RBI chances if things go as expected for Lindor, Baez and Alonso. The Mets should hang a 7-8 spot today and provide good value throughout their lineup.
CARDINALS
Cards have been much better recently and most of their damage has come against southpaws.
