These are my quick thoughts on the late slate tonight for those who are tilting into the night. It’s much more balanced of a slate than the early big set of games.
TOP GAMES
LSU vs UCLA
The Tigers defense had a big down year a season ago and although they should be improved they will still play fast and higher scoring games. UCLA has a game under their belts already so I expect them to come out firing early and often and should move the ball with ease. This is the best game stack of the weekend, so get 3+ players from it.
Texas Tech vs Houston
If we are in the business of stacking Quarterbacks tonight (we should be) then this one is prime center as #2 on the list. Both teams have affordable Quarterbacks who should produce well enough in this spot. The Tyler Shough to Erik Ezukana connection for Texas Tech should be productive tonight.
Syracuse vs Ohio – Best sneaky game
QUARTERBACK
This slate sets up as a good game stack one for QB.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson (UCLA) & Max Johnson (LSU)
Clayton Tune (UH) and Tyler Shough (TTU)
RUNNING BACK
Isiah Spiller (TA&M) – He is a stud who shreds bad defenses. Kent State is exactly that
Zander Horvath (Purdue) – Need some Purdue exposure and I will take Horvath over Bell tonight
Brittain Brown (UCLA)
WIDE RECEIVER
Kayshon Boutte (LSU)
Erik Ezukana (TTU)
David Bell (Purdue) – One of the best WR in the nation but I love the ground game so much for Purdue that Horvath will be my primary Boilermaker and I prioritize having Boutte at WR1.
Kyle Phillips (UCLA)
Taj Harris (Syracuse) – Sneaky FLEX play
CORE PLAYS
Dorian Thompson-Robinson/Max Johnson
Isiah Spiller
Kayshon Boutte
