The Dongers Club is back after a couple days off and thanks to Geriak and Marsella for the fill in. Let’s be cautious as this is a holiday slate and those are always a little unique. Nice for us though there are no projected weather issues.
Zack Wheeler
Big time pitching match-up in Milwaukee as Wheeler faces Woodruff, so there will be a lot of eyeballs on the strikeout props in this game, but I greatly prefer Wheeler because of a couple key hitters in the Phillies lineup who I think will wake up today. You need an anchor of Wheeler/Woodruff/Sale in your lineup on DraftKings today and Wheeler is the one I would hitch onto to have a big day.
Tarik Skubal
Skubal gets the Pirates, which has been a good spot for lefty pitchers over the last month. Add in that Skubal also gets to face the pitcher and I can see him getting through today without any major blow up spots. Skubal’s recent issue has been the long ball, but going into PNC park that should be negated and I would bet him to have 6+ strikeouts this afternoon.

C’mon, you had to know this was coming. The Royals going into Camden Yards is an annual tradition of stacking much like the Royals going into Fenway, those are prime park shifts for this team and do you really need me to explain how hot Salvador Perez is? That said, it’s guys like Mondesi, Santana and Benintendi who are going to make the Royals pay off today.
Detroit Tigers
Can you tell it’s September Baseball because we are looking to stack Royals and Tigers? Well, here we are. The Tigers offense has been sneaky good of late and Bryse Wilson is two starts removed from a rabbit out of his hat performance, he should be expected to get hit once again and the lefties such as Badoo, Grossman, Candelario should have good days.
