Key Skaters

W David Pastrnak (BOS)

The best player on the slate is Pasta and skating for the Bruins’ top-line he’ll look to pick up where he left off last season against the Flyers. In six games against Philly, the winger scored six goals and dished out four assists. Pasta led the Bruins in scoring chances and shots per 60 at 5v5 last season while being second in power-play goals and first in power-play points.

W Jonathan Marchessault (VGK)

On this short slate, I’m opting to give you my top overall skater and my top value skater. Marchessault fits the latter with stars Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone out for the foreseeable future due to injuries, the winger will get a chance back up on the top line and top power-play unit. While St. Louis is a formidable team Marchessault has 18 goals and 44 points in 55 games last season. He’s priced favorably at $4,500 and is not afraid to shoot the puck.

Favorite Line Stack

Boston Bruins

Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak, Brad Marchand

The Bruins’s top line will cost a hefty price but they’ve shown to be one of the more dominant lines in the league over the past few years. While Pastrnak and Marchand are up over 7k we’re getting a slight discount with Bergeron at $6,200. All three share time on the top power-play unit as well and the offense essentially lives through these three stars.

Swayman showed up in his first start stopping 27 of 28 shots faced. He’ll see another opportunity against a Flyers team that has scored six and four goals in its first two games.

Robin Lehner (VGK)

While the Blues may score a couple of goals I expect Lehner to see a good amount of work in net en route to making enough saves and earning a win to negate any goals he might let by him.
