Key Skaters

C Connor McDavid (EDM)

In what should be a fast-paced affair, look no further than McDavid as the top skater of the slate. Of course, rostering McDavid could be considered obvious but considering that there is a lot of high-priced talent in good spots (Auston Matthews $9,100, Mika Zibanajad $7,300) you can’t roster all of them together. McDavid has at least one point in all 15 games this season and Winnipeg offers a lot of opportunities for McDavid to continue that stretch.

W Vladimir Tarasenko (STL)

Tarasenko continues to be underpriced ($6,200) in a good matchup against the brutal Arizona Coyotes. The sniper has a goal in each of his last three games with 13 shots over that span. The Blues are fifth in the league in scoring chances per 60 at 5v5 and the Coyotes are fourth in goals allowed per 60 at 5v5. Finding value in Tarasenko who should be priced up closer to $7,000 is just what we need on this slate to fit in some of the high-priced talent.

C Tyler Seguin (DAL)

An under-the-radar skater tonight is Seguin at $6,700 facing the Red Wings who are playing their second game in as many nights. Seguin has three goals in his last five games and is always a candidate to hit the shot bonus which he’s done four times this season.

St. Louis Blues

Ryan O’Reilly, Vladimir Tarasenko, David Perron, Justin Faulk

• Full power-play correlation here and a spread of the top three even-strength lines. Arizona has the second-worst penalty kill and allows the most power-play minutes per game.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Nick Ritchie, Morgan Rielly

• Top even-strength line with tremendous value with Ritchie ($2,500). Matthews, Marner, and Rielly are key cogs on the top power-play unit which is sixth in the league with a 25 percent success rate.

Dallas Stars

Tyler Seguin, Alexander Radulov, Jacob Peterson, John Klingberg

• Dallas comes in with a favorable matchup against the Red Wings who have the fourth-highest expected goals against rate per 60 at 5v5. Seguin, Radulov, and Peterson are skating on the second even-strength line while Klingberg runs one of the points on the top power-play unit. This stack won’t kill your overall salary with guys like Radulov, Peterson, and Klingberg being favorably priced.
