C Mikko Rantanen (COL)

• With MacKinnon on IR for the time being Rantanen has slid into the center position and finds a good matchup against Vancouver as the top-scoring option in a fast-paced affair.

W Patrick Kane (CHI)

• We could look to Alex Ovechkin ($9,200) here of course but in the majority of my lineups I’ll be taking the discount with Kane ($7,800) in a matchup that has been favorable for wingers thus far. The future Hall of Famer has four points, all assists, in his last three games and has his the shot bonus five times in his last 11 games.

Chicago Blackhawks

Kirby Dach, Patrick Kane, Alex Debrincat, Seth Jones

• Top even-strength line and full power-play correlation here for Chicago. If you wanted to Ambush (pun intended) adding Jonathan Toews would complete the entire top power-play unit.

Colorado Avalanche

Mikko Rantanen, Gabriel Landeskog, Cale Makar

• Stacking Colorado can be expensive, sure but with the absence of MacKinnon the scoring will primarily be funneled to the three stars that are currently active. Rantanen and Landeskog highlight the top even-strength line with stud defenseman Cale Makar joining them on the top power-play unit. Andre Burakovsky ($4,700) is a nice value if you wanted another Avs skater. He slides in on the second even-strength line and top power-play unit.

Seattle Kraken

Alexander Wennberg, Jordan Eberle, Jaden Schwartz, Mark Giordano

• The Blackhawks defense is still questionable at best, even after the firing of Jeremy Colliton. With that being said, Seattle’s top line of Wennberg ($3.400), Eberle ($5,200), and Schwartz ($4,200) is about as affordable as it gets considering that two of them (Wennberg and Eberle) see time on the top power-play unit. Skating on that unit as well is defenseman Mark Giordano ($6,000) who has seven points in 15 games.
