Key Skaters

C Steven Stamkos (TB)

  • While the Lightning has been beaten down by injuries with Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point both out the veteran captain has stepped up with points in four of their last five games totaling three goals and four assists.

W Jake Guentzel (PIT)

2019-20 Season In Review: Jake Guentzel - PensBurgh

It’s hard to look and find a skater in the NHL that is hotter than Guentzel right now as he’s scored a goal in five of his last six games (his streak was stopped in his last contest). Guentzel has also hit the shot bonus in four of his last five games staying aggressive through a positive stretch for the Penguins. The Islanders have been leaky defensively all year and Guentzel is very fairly priced at $6,400.

Favorite Line Stacks

Columbus Blue Jackets

Boone Jenner, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Gustav Nyquist, Adam Boqvist

Boone Jenner Captain of the Columbus Blue Jackets - LWOH

  • Jenner, Bjorkstrand, and Nyquist are slotted in on the top line with Jenner and Bjorkstrand seeing time on the top power-play with value defenseman Adam Boqvist. Zach Werenski would be the preffered defenseman anchor here but he’s priced up at $7,400 vs Boqvist’s $2,500. Jenner has just two points in his last three games and Bjorkstrand has just one goal over that span but Columbus has been among the league’s leaders in scoring chances per 60 at 5v5.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Auston Matthews, Michael Bunting, Mitch Marner

  • Matthews and Bunting have displayed a solid chemistry skating primarily with William Nylander on the top line. Instead of Willie, this line will have Marner paired up with AM34 and Bunting. It’s no secret that Toronto’s offense can be dynamic and dangerous at times and these three skating on the top line is a huge part of that.

Pittsburgh Penguins

Sidney Crosby, Jake Guentzel, Bryan Rust, Kris Letang

  • While this is an expensive stack the upside is immense against an Islanders squad that seemingly couldn’t give two fuck’s about playing defense right now. Uncharacteristically the Isles allow the seventh-most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes at 5v5. Along with myriad other issues on defense the Isles will have their hands full against a team that has won four straight with 15 goals over that span.
