C Sebastian Aho (CAR)

Aho has been scuffling of late with just two points (both goals and both in the same game) over his last five contests. This is a great get-right spot for Aho against a Senators team that ranks near the bottom in every defensive category. Carolina will be looking to avenge two straight losses, a stretch in which they’ve combined to score just three goals.

W Jonathan Huberdeau (FLA)

Huber has recorded at least one point in seven of his last eight games with at least three shots in each of his last nine games while hitting the shot bonus three times. Buffalo’s defense has all but gone to hell allowing five or more goals in five of their last seven games.

W Matthew Tkachuk (CGY)

The Flames’ opponent the Los Angeles Kings have the fifth-highest expected goal rate per 60 at 5v5 at 2.48. Tkachuk, a goal-scoring threat from anywhere on the ice, especially up close has 10 goals and 19 points total in 22 games this season. The Kings also have allowed the eighth-most scoring chances per 60 at 5v5 and the sixth-most high-danger scoring chances per 60 at 5v5.

Carolina Hurricanes

Sebastian Aho, Andrei Svechnikov, Martin Necas, Teuvo Terravainen

All four skaters here skate on the top power-play unit with Aho, Necas, and Terravainen skating on the top even-strength line. Carolina beat this Senators team 8-2 the last time they met with these four skaters combined for seven points.

Florida Panthers

Sam Bennett, Jonathan Huberdeau, Sam Reinhart, Patric Hornqvist

There’s full power-play correlation here with Hornqvist coming in at a great $3,500 price tag although there’s limited ice-time at even strength for him. Bennett has assumed top-line center duties with Aleksander Barkov out and Huberdeau is on one of his wings. Reinhart ($4,500) is a nice value as a scoring option on the second even-strength line.
