C Jack Eichel (VGK)

• Eichel has points in back-to-back games giving him three points in three games with Vegas. In those three games, Eichel has seven shots including five in his last game and in Friday’s matchup he gets the Arizona Coyotes who are weak defending the center position and have allowed four or more goals in two of their last four home games. At a loaded center position on Friday Eichel might go overlooked compared to where his ownership should be and that’s music to our ears.

C Jack Hughes (NJD)

• Despite the lackluster play from the Devils of late at least from a record perspective, Hughes has shined recording at least one point in seven of his last eight games with multiple points in three of those games and accumulating five goals over that span. The Blackhawks defense has been weak up the middle all season and with Hughes skating with all kinds of confidence right now this is a good spot to lock him in at a reasonable 6K price tag.

W Patrik Laine (CBJ)

• Laine is on a roll right now with 13 of his 19 goals coming in his last 10 games with multi-goal efforts on five occasions. The sniper looks to have gotten his game in order after a rough stretch over the past year or so dealing with being traded, nagging injuries, and generally poor play. With his production, Laine has seen his salary jump up but in a game in which Columbus will have to score to keep pace with Carolina, I like the idea of Laine getting a ton of pucks to the net.
