Overview The Bluegreen Vacations Duel 1 at Daytona is a 60-lap race consisting of 21 drivers. See starting lineup below. Daytona is a 2.5-mile tri-oval that is heavily banked. The asphalt track banks 31 degrees in the turns and 18 degrees in the tri-oval and if you’ve ever had the pleasure of walking on the track you’d know that it is quite a climb up from the infield to the wall surrounding the track. Unlike the Daytona 500 race, we don’t have to worry as much about “the big one” (a wreck that takes out a number of cars) because there are only 21 cars in this race.
