WEATHER
No major issues unless you consider 16 mph winds in Wrigley to be an issue of course. Yes, they are blowing out but they will once again have some precipitation in the area. Wrigley after the Bears defense dominated the Steelers yesterday off a strong performance from Matt Forte and their defense will probably draw some attention, but as we know, when there is a blowout like that it usually runs the opposite direction. So I expect a solid game from Antwaan Randle El or someone else today on the Pittsburgh side if anything…
All games play, here are the other windy spots
- 17 MPH winds out in Target Field to left field. Which is nothing compared to the blowing that the White Sox are doing right now. It’s chilly there too, sub 50.

Logan Webb
I am certainly one who believes that it is hard to sweep teams and there could be a scenario where the Giants manage to not sweep the Nationals. But, then you remember the Nationals roll out Alcides Escobar, Victor Robles, a banged up Josh Bell and Maikel Franco and then you feel much better about this being a very simple spot for Logan Webb.
Gerrit Cole
I’ll bite.
Cole was horrific against the Tigers — or so that’s what everyone wants you to believe. In that game he was getting to 3-2 counts without being able to find a way to put them away and managed to just not have anything against the bottom of their order before the quick hook came.
You can point out the obvious in relation to the sticky stuff with Cole and also that the Guardians are a low strikeout team. But to me Cole is not going to worry about trying to strike everyone out today and in a Chilly and wind blowing in afternoon in his small ballpark anything that does get put into play will be an OUT. Cole will go 6 strong for the Yankees today and give up 0 runs and just 4 strikeouts.
Take it with so many risk spots out there.
Shane McClanahan
McClanahan is pitching extremely well thus far in 2022 and looks to be in line to have another outing where he can get a 30+ whiff rate against the Red Sox lineup, which generally is not a target unless we have JD Martinez out and a Lefty on the mound like today. He’ll be fine.

Look, we’re going to see Chad Kuhl probably be pretty chalky today on DraftKings and absolutely nobody wants to ride the Chad Kuhl train after he just posted a 23+ at home Philly, now do ya? These teams had a double header yesterday and thus far teams off a double header both sides kind of come out quiet the day after. Alexander is nothing more than a long shot ‘Sunday Sleeper’ type play today as an SP2 on DraftKings, but I do trust the Tigers more than the Rockies hitters.

One tip that I give in DFS is to identify a series and ride it all the way through if you believe strongly in it. I believed strongly in this series being a good one and thus far it has had an inning or two where it looks like it will blow up but hasn’t quite hit.
Today there are no shadows and good hitting temps with Nick Lodolo facing a veteran lineup and Adam Wainwright facing his eleanor stadium.

With Joan Adon starting the Giants are poised to not leave Nats Park without a couple more HR deposits. A chalky play yesterday, Joc Pederson, definitely stands out but we must go back to our Sunday Brandon Belt on the east coast. Adon should not exit this game without allowing a LHB to homer.

Yusei Kikuchi, I say, here comes the Houston blow up game… I hate that Chas leads off and not Pena because we could use Pena at SS leading off for sure but our must own is really Yordan while Bregman/Tucker are also good for a full stack.
