If you see references to the following games they are shockingly on FanDuel and not on DraftKings:
- Washington @ Miami
- San Diego @ Philadelphia

WEATHER
No issues.

This is a loaded Aces kind of night.
MAX SCHERZER
Max always seems to shine bright when facing the Cardinals plus so far many teams coming off a double header are not doing much offensively the next day. Home in Citi Field and outside of Tyler O’Neill finally running into one there’s not much here that I am scared of using Max for.
KEVIN GAUSMAN
We call this Daily Fantasy for a reason and we have to separate one day from another often times. Such is the case as I have been riding Seattle three days in a row and two in Toronto only to see them go cold against Toronto pitching.
Today Gausman lines up as the one pitcher who has very few opposing hitters that could cause problems off him and so he is our top guy despite any concerns over “will the Mariners finally break out”.
PABLO LOPEZ (FD)
Man if we didn’t have some other high end SP’s tonight on FanDuel Pablo would be the easy plug and play there. He’s a contrarian FD only pivot off Max/Gausman/Ohtani/Cole/Giolito and one I think can match them but that’s a lot of good arms you need to fail on a one pitcher site.
[spacer height=”20px”]
I was willing to use Lucas Giolito last night when the options were thinner, but not tonight even though he is at a reduced price. It could still be a short outing compared to what the others give us. Zack Wheeler for the Phillies should be 5% on FanDuel if you want a really high upside contrarian option but that’s really the only benefit he has tonight.

WHITE SOX
If there is one team to pay up for, it’s gotta be Chicago tonight. None of the other spots are going to be as high end upside as the White Sox are tonight on DraftKings (FD is different and I would consider the Phillies a top stack there). But I believe Jose Abreu is primed to have a break out game tonight against Greinke as he should be able to square things up and it’s time for Zack to have a rough start.
- Jose Abreu
- Luis Robert
- Tim Anderson
- Yasmani Grandal
On DraftKings we are more focused on where we can find multiple value hitters who are likely not on your radar but could over perform their expectations. The Pirates to me are that one team who can do that.
PIRATES
Everything tonight is focused around the cheaper bats. Many of which will be coming from the Cubs side of this game but lets not ignore the sleeping Pirates who haven’t scored a run in three games yes, but even a blind deaf Pirate gets some gold every once and a while.
Drew Smyly has a better chance of being off than many other SP’s to attack tonight. So lets attack him.
- KeBryan Hayes
- Rodolfo Castro
- Bryan Reynolds

CATCHER
- Yasmani Grandal

FIRST BASE
Lock in on Abreu unless you are going heavy on spending in the OF in which case it’s punting with Michael Chavis
- Jose Abreu
- Michael Chavis
[spacer height=”20px”]
SECOND BASE
- Jeff McNeil .. Like the Pirates, the Mets are viable for a few guys who should get on base and give you points for cheap prices. McNeil tops that list.
- DJ LeMahieu
- Marcus Semien
[spacer height=”20px”]
THIRD BASE
- KeBryan Hayes
- Matt Chapman
- Yoan Moncada
[spacer height=”20px”]

Top heavy position with some reduced prices. Bichette has been working on his swing of late and having better approaches at the plate finally.
