There are only eight (8) total MLB games today with one of them being a make-up from a rain out yesterday and thus it is not included on any DraftKings Classic slates but FanDuel actually included it. My guess is that they had no idea it was a PPD game and were like yeah, lets do this, that’s another chance to create another tilt slate afterwards!
Anyways, there are only three games this evening so this is the only article for today, just use and trust the Dashboard for help on the short slates and prepare for a fantastic weekend of Baseball after that.

WEATHER
No issues.

The name of the game with the pitchers today is to just make sure you find someone who will perform good enough. Honestly, that’s just about anyone from the look of things as I don’t have any pitchers getting blown up but I also don’t see anyone popping out 7 innings, 8 strikeouts and some dominant ace performance.
The Mets new ace Chris Bassitt is taking the hill and I say that jokingly but lets hope Max Scherzer is okay in all seriousness. That said, Bassitt is priced up on both sites and he should provide a smooth return but one which you aren’t going to be pissed if you fade.
Jordan Montgomery should be a chalky option as a LHP in Camden Yards he will avoid giving up a ton of homers but also likely walks away sometime in the 5th inning having only 3 strikeouts. Blah. Same is true for his counter part Bruce Zimmermann, so if you want to use one, use them both on DraftKings.
Cal Quantrill is not a great pitcher, but I can honestly see the idea of using him against the Reds offense which remains bad. Yes, there are 3 lefties here who can do damage as Lefties in Cleveland, but Quantrill is a nice pivot off Tyler Mahle on FanDuel.
Kyle Gibson would be worthy of use if Manny Machado sits after fouling a ball off his leg last night, otherwise, no. Same for Yu Darvish if Bryce Harper remains out which I expect he will.
Vince Velasquez and Carlos Hernandez are pitching in the game with the best hitting elements (80 degrees and 12+ mph winds to left), plus it’s a game I want to stack for some stupid reason because, well, why not. So no.
And then there is Dakota Hudson and we’ll just not waste any brain cells here.
Alright, well, that’s it.
Thanks for coming!
Good luck on picking two!

Here are the recommendations / rankings
- Chris Bassitt
- Yu Darvish (Gibson okay if Machado sits)
- Cal Quantrill (FD)

WHITE SOX / ROYALS
I mentioned the weather being the best of the five games and neither pitcher grades out well enough to resist the temptation of stacking up. I’ll keep chasing the White Sox until they finally get right.
- CWS: Tim Anderson, Jose Abreu, Luis Robert, Andrew Vaughn
- KC: Bobby Witt Jr, MJ Melendez, Michael A. Taylor

CATCHER
MJ Melendez has been great in limited AB so far for the Royals and should be once again in the lineup today.
- MJ Melendez

FIRST BASE
Jose Abreu is slowly turning it on with 2 doubles over the last week. First Base is a good position on FanDuel where you can also look at Anthony Rizzo and Eric Hosmer as viable options.
- Jose Abreu
- Eric Hosmer
- Anthony Rizzo
SECOND BASE
Gleyber Torres had a nice oppo field double last night which is key now in Camden Yards and even though he bats lower than LeMahieu in the order he is probably going to be the more popular Yankee 2B eligible player today. Both are fine.
- Gleyber Torres
- DJ LeMahieu
- Owen Miller (FD)
THIRD BASE
After a slow first couple of weeks Bobby Witt Jr has continued to pour it on and his price has not yet matched the recent production.
- Bobby Witt Jr
- Yoan Moncada
- Manny Machado
SHORTSTOP
Lindor is playing well and should thrive vs Dakota Hudson
- Francisco Lindor
- Tim Anderson
OUTFIELD – Mt Rushmore
RHB are slugging .578 off Carlos Hernandez’s curve-ball and Luis Robert has a .576 xSLG in that same split.
- Luis Robert
- Aaron Judge
- AJ Pollock
- Hunter Dozier
FD Only: Franmil Reyes & Tyler Naquin
