So last night I won $100,000 and the whole lineup was of course from this very article which is the case with my lineups every day. Pretty cool if I do say so myself and I appreciate all the congrats and kind words everyone sent.
But why didn’t any of you people share a screenshot of your big wins?
I know I wasn’t just that lucky with the contest selection and the build of the lineup and yes it was on FanDuel which is one SP but still… That bummed me out to not see others cashing big last night and so tonight, I expect better because if you are reading this today after not reading yesterday then, what’s the matta with you?
Tonight we have 13 games as there are two starting in the 6pm window (Rockies/Marlins and Dodgers/Reds) and we have the return of The Italian – Anthony DeSclafani – for the first time since the passing of Henry Hill.

WEATHER
The heat and humidity that burned up the midwest and south is about to torment the east coast for the next few days. That combined with second tier pitching tonight points me in the belief that we have ourselves the potential for an explosive Tuesday around the league and I don’t mean the Taco’s that I ate for lunch.
From a wind perspective, Target Field and Comiskey have some big wind boosts. With Comiskey also having 91 degree temps and a very high Dew Point along with a team who is about to get white hot in the White Sox.

It is even 84 degree’s in Oakland for crying out loud.
[spacer height=”20px”]

This is very much a night opposite of last night where tonight I am not expecting multiple aces to ball out and so you can get away with cheaper/lessor options. Except for one guy….
NESTOR CORTES
One area where it is not going to be 90 degrees on the field is Tropicana Field and with the Rays still missing Wander Franco and now Manny Margot there’s not many worse lineups out there today in good pitching environments than this.
SEAN MANAEA
On a night when there are a ton of 1B out there, Christian Walker for Arizona is another one who should profile well against Manaea but he is 0-8 lifetime against him and if Manaea can control him again and Ketel Marte he will do what he has in his last few home starts which is 6-7 IP with 18-22 DK points.
OLE DICK MOUNTAIN (Rich Hill)
This would be Mr. Rich Hill for those of you keeping score at home. The temps in Boston are one spot where the heat wave hasn’t migrated in like locusts in the summer and the way Bostons pitching is going and the Tigers offense is going I don’t see him not getting through 5+ innings with potential for a 7+ strikeout game.
You should have DFS money on HIll or betting money on his K prop tonight.
JAMES KAPRILELIAN
In terms of confidence JK certainly doesn’t ooze it like the choices we had last night but the way the Mariners have been hitting of late he could get one more bad offensive night ouf of them and be a good value SP2 on a slate which is not top heavy in arms despite whatever other garbage you decide to read on the Internet today.
His fastball is below average, which is the path for Seattle to get going and if Julio Rodriguez leads off that will tell you this entire outing. The middle to bottom half of Seattle’s lineup should not give him any issues so a clean first inning will mean he gets well into double digit points on DK as an SP2 tonight.

Don’t Mind:
Marco Gonzales
[spacer height=”20px”]

There are an insane amount of offenses which grade out as ++ for me tonight and there are two teams who I really have my eye on for the next 1-2 weeks as the next Phillies/Braves type teams to get hot and win 10-12 straight. Those teams, both in the AL, would be Boston and Chicago so you should have DFS exposure on them or heavy betting exposure on them now until July 4th.

WHITE SOX
AJ Pollock, Andrew Vaughn, Jose Abreu
Many will see Kevin Gausman and know that he is struggling but also avoid going here. Mistake, big mistake. The ball is flying out of Comiskey right now and with the weather getting even better for hitting tonight it should once again produce many homers and lots of offense.
The return of Anderson to #1, with Vaughn #2 is making the White Sox lineup finally click and I am not gonna miss their heater which is capped off probably by an AJ Pollock 2-homer or grand slam game.
[spacer height=”20px”]
CARDINALS
Paul Goldschmidt, Brendan Donovan, Nolan Arenado, Andrew Knizner
Tonights theme is that there are a million 1B who are going to homer and Paul Goldschmidt has to be at the front of that list.
Chi Chi Gonzalez not only got a new job he got one with Milwaukee who has done well with helping pitchers out but you can only fix stupid so fast my friends. RHH hammer him.
[spacer height=”20px”]
METS vs ASTROS
Pete Alonso vs Alex Bregman
This spot flies under the radar, however Houston vs the Mets screams high scoring compared to what both pitching staffs think they are.
Trevor Williams starting is a throw away game IMO and a gift to Alex Bregman fantasy owners from here to there. Nice spot to get some one offs from or just go all in on a 4-3 stack.
[spacer height=”20px”]
SECONDARY SPOTS
GUARDIANS
Naylor, Reyes, Gimenez
Strong wind boost in Target Field and lots of lefties which are hitting Joelan Ryan very well. Jose Ramirez is slightly banged up but with Franmil Reyes maybe back there could be potential for a nice value stack around Bubba instead.
RED SOX
Duran, Verdugo, Devers, Story
Boston definitely is a team I strongly believe is getting white hot and will just reel off a ton of wins before two big divisional series before the ASB.
The Duran experiment at the top of the order is money, his speed in DFS for his cheap price makes him a great play every night.

Today’s BOOST+ Players
Last night was nobody. Today is everybody. Let me try to filter it down for you
Andrew Vaughn, Oneil Cruz, Luis Robert, Josh Bell, Paul Goldschmidt, AJ Pollock, Jose Abreu, Bryan Reynolds, Josh Naylor, Captain Jack Suwinski, Matt Olson, Juan Yepez, Alex Bregman, Nolan Arenado, Ian Happ, Gary Sanchez, Sean Murphy, Trevor Story, Francisco Lindor, Javier Baez.
Okay, we stop the list at Javier Baez. Dems the rules.
[spacer height=”20px”]
CATCHER
Very simple rule of thumb that works for me in regards to catchers on a slate like tonight. There’s a ton of good hitting spots and lots of teams on the slate so just don’t spend up at cacher and take a value guy in a stack you roll out.
- Gary Sanchez
- Tyler Heineman
- Andrew Knizner
[spacer height=”20px”]
FIRST BASE
Deepest position of the season with 3-HR upside from some of these plays. Yes, you could try to get cute with the Miguel Cabrera solo HR off Dick Mountain, or one of the 1B eligible Orioles (Mancini/Mountcastle) who no doubt combine for a HR tonight or even Josh Bell for $3500 in the same game.
We also have Christian Walker, Josh Naylor, last nights Chairman Rowdy Tellez and Mr. Stud Vlad Guerrero Jr who are all great plays too.
They’re not these three. Sorry.

- Pete Alonso … Houston, you have a problem. The working man is on the road and coming to town and he needs TP for his Bunghole.
- Paul Goldschmidt … Uh, Milwaukee, you too have a problem
- Jose Abreu
[spacer height=”20px”]
SECOND BASE
This position on the other hand is not as clear cut top heavy today. The confidence rating at 1B is around 99.9% while here it’s only 28.3%
- Nolan Gorman / Brendan Donovan
- Trevor Story
- Rougned Odor
[spacer height=”20px”]
THIRD BASE
The hot corner see’s your list at first base and raises you this Mt. Rushmore
- Alex Bregman
- Nolan Arenado
- Rafael Devers
- KeBryan Hayes
[spacer height=”20px”]
SHORTSTOP
- Corey Seager
- Dansby Swanson
- Francisco Lindor
- Oneil Cruz … Imagine thinking Oneil Cruz is not going to keep doing what he did last night for 2k. The fact that you can use him in OF too is a great steal today.
[spacer height=”20px”]
OUTFIELD – MT RUSHMORE
With so many good studs in the infield and so much OF depth I will take my chances with cheaper OF guys and hope nobody like Yordan Alvarez hits 3 HR. Only Soto and Ohtani are the studs I like tonight at OF.
- AJ Pollock
- Alex Verdugo
- Juan Soto … So Jordan Lyles has not given up a HR at Camden Yards all year long and tonight Soto puts one into the visiting bullpen.
- Trey Mancini
[spacer height=”20px”]
OUTFIELD – Tier 2
- Andrew Vaughn
- Nicholas Castellanos
- Shohei Ohtani
[spacer height=”20px”]
OUTFIELD – Value
- Ian Happy Days are here again
- Oneil Cruz
- Juan Yepez
- Franmil Reyes
- Captain Jack Suwinski
[spacer height=”20px”]

The Dongers Club
- Alex Bregman – 3B – Houston Astros – Chairman of The Dongers Club
- Pete Alonso – 1B – Mets
- AJ Pollock – OF – White Sox
- Taylor Heineman – C – Pirates
- Dansby Swanson – SS – Braves
- Trevor Story – 2B – Red Sox
- Shohei Ohtani – OF/DH – Angels
- Juan Soto – OF – Nationals
- BONUS ………. Paul Goldschmidt – 1B – Cardinals
- BONUS 2 ………… Corey Seager – SS – Rangers
