I am on the road most of today so I am having the article publish early but if there are late scratches or things of that nature I likely will not be updating anything in the article — but the Dashboard should update.

WEATHER
All clear, some thunderstorms in a few games but they all should play.

LUCAS GIOLITO
I can sit here and try to ramble about hey the Tigers have won 5 in a row and law of averages says this or that about them beating the White Sox again. Who cares, Chicago is a dumpster my friends. But the price overall on Giolito is just silly tonight. This is a free square on a slate which is going to be won by pitchers in his price range.
AARON CIVALE
The Royals were in a tree on the road down in Houston and so I hope everyone avoids picking on them tonight back in Kauffman Stadium. Civale gets most of his strikeouts on his curveball which should do damage against a now free swinging and over-optimistic offensive lineup.
JOSE URQUIDY
Much like the man below him this is a good park shift and a bad offense that he should avoid some blow-ups against. The Astros pitch to well to make the same mistakes vs a team they know that Toronto’s pitching did all week long and so in Oakland tonight Urquidy wont blow your socks off, but he won’t fault you either. I project a 6 inning clean game.

OTHER PITCHING THOUGHTS …
Pablo Lopez is very tempting for me tonight, but the Mets just find a way to win games and their lineup is too pesky.
Both Grays are in for a long night. I considered Sonny but thought otherwise.
Charlie Morton and Zack Wheeler could go 7+ in their match-ups and both should be mediocre ownership. The challenge is Morton is coming off great starts and the Nationals likely will hit well in Atlanta and Wheeler is facing the Cardinals twice in one week which really worries me.
Same is true for Gallen and Kuhl
[spacer height=”20px”]

I don’t see a ton of offense today, what I see is a bunch of match-ups against pitchers who will not strike out the side every time out but will get through 5 and 2/3 IP without a massive blow up inning. Which makes this a great one off slate. Which makes it the perfect night for me to force you to stack in the Dongers Club contest. Ha, sorry, you’re probably going to need two lineups today if you are in that contest.
The Yankees and Red Sox will have another game full of 3+ HR in it. It is too warm and these pitchers are too likely to get hit for that not to happen. Yes, there will be an under in that series but it’s not tonight. I wanted to get that out of the way though, because I don’t know you gotta roll with a full DFS stack there but with my conspiracy on the baseballs it’s essentially your Coors Field for tonight.
Here are the viable stacks I see …
CLEVELAND
Hello. It’s me. Your Brady Singer Fan Club Chairman. Yes, you see. We are not meeting tonight for Brady Singer night. No sir. It’s not happening here.

Cleveland should pop off on Singer and I am a huge Singer guy, however his best case tonight is that he gets lots of ground balls to have a clean game and walks around Ramirez. His worst case is giving up 3-4 HR. There could be storms rolling through, which drives Singer nuts always and gets him mentally off his game. This is also a much different Cleveland lineup than he is used too and the Royals simply do not scout well against guys they don’t know. Cleveland has promoted their top hitting prospect Nolan Jones who was in the DraftKings player pool for 2 months this year and now suddenly no longer is… WTF? Anyways, his bat just helps knock Singer out and gets you into the Royals horrible bullpen.
Naylor, Ramirez, Kwan, Rosario, Reyes
CHAVEZ RAVINE
That is Dodger Stadium for you noobs.
Looks like we have a Mookie Betts heater which for Freddie Freeman is the spark he might just need to get going as well. Keegan Thompson has a middle of the road fastball which the Dodgers feast upon but I wouldn’t sleep on an opportunity to attack potential Tyler Anderson chalk too with the Cubbies.
I like runs in Dodger Stadium tonight and expect Mookie, Freeman, Bellinger, Wisdom and Morel to have good games.
Betts, Freeman, Morel, Wisdom
WHITE SOX
Skubal is struggling, the White Sox are struggling and something has to give here. High Humidity and winds blowing out to right at 17+ MPH. So if we’re going to see that offensive explosion it should come from the Chicago side.
Anderson, Abreu, Pollock, Robert

OTHER GAME THOUGHTS
Atlanta Braves – Erick Fedde is the new Tanner Roark. Someone who will go 5 innings, allow 8-9 base runners and 3 or so runs. So you won’t win with a 5 man stack but you won’t lose with a 2-3 core from the Braves. Although if we get into that Nats pen then yes, this could turn into the night when one of Adam Duvall and Marcell Ozuna go double dong.
[spacer height=”20px”]

Today’s BOOST+ Players …
Marcell Ozuna, Josh Naylor, David Villar, Riley Greene, Travis d’Arnaud, Chris Morel, Andres Gimenez, Alek Thomas, Bobby Witt Jr, Darick Hall, Seiya Suzuki, Jesus Sanchez, Eloy Jimenez, Jake Splish Splash Lamb, Leody Tavares
[spacer height=”20px”]
CATCHER
- Mitch Garver … Draws his former team tonight. Fun.
- Will Smith … Will be 2% at best on FanDuel where most dont use catchers, great play there at 3300
- Max Stassi
[spacer height=”20px”]
FIRST BASE
This is a great position tonight and really good in the mid range area. If you are doing a full 5 man stack, it should include 1B from that team today.
- Jose Abreu … Abreu’s biggest issue in 2022 has been going oppo field too much. The wind is going to be blowing out to RF tonight so considering he has a .719 xSLG matchup vs Skubal I like his chances to do damage here after he had a horrible AB vs a lefty to finish the game off last night.
- Freddie Freeman
- Josh Naylor – 3900 good price in a Guardians stack.
- Rhys Hoskins – Has homered every year he has played in Busch stadium. Little HR prop for the weekend.
[spacer height=”20px”]
SECOND BASE
- Trevor Story … This is a very nice Story match-up today.
- Jorge Polanco
- Diego Castillo
- Christopher Morel
[spacer height=”20px”]
THIRD BASE
- Jose Ramirez … That ball is well hit and Jose Ramirez has now snapped his homer-less drought with his second hit of the night and the Guardians lead it 5-0.
- Patrick Wisdom
- KeBryan Hayes
[spacer height=”20px”]
SHORTSTOP
This is my favorite position tonight, much like 3B last night and tonights version of Rafael Devers is either Tim Anderson or Xander Bogaerts.
- Tim Anderson … Has crushed Skubal who has been very bad the last month or so. I see Skubal having a better game tonight because the White Sox are an Abortion but he should still give up a couple hard hit balls and with the wind blowing out we should see Anderson and Abreu do the damage
- Corey Seager
- Xander Bogaerts
- Dansby Swanson
[spacer height=”20px”]
OUTFIELD – Mt. Rushmore
- Marcell Ozuna … The double dong vibes are strong with this one.
- Shohei Ohtani … You have three ways to profit here. Home Run Prop. FanDuel where he is 4200. Or be that guy who plays Ohtani at 6500 on DraftKings and walks into the room with your pants down after he hits his second homer of the night and say. Hey, look at me. Look at me….. And then say “Pro” in Japanese.
- Alek Thomas – Likely your best overall value tonight if he hits 2nd as expected. He is a core play in that scenario.
- Aaron Judge
[spacer height=”20px”]
OUTFIELD – Tier 2
- Max Kepler
- Byron Buxton
- Seiya Suzuki
- Kole Calhoun
OUTFIELD – VALUE
- AJ Pollock – Would like him to bat 2nd again tonight.
- Leody Tavares
- Cody Bellinger
[spacer height=”20px”]

The Dongers Club
- Marcell Ozuna – OF – Braves – Chairman of The Dongers Club
- Jose Ramirez – 3B – Guardians
- Trevor Story – 2B – Red Sox
- Will Smith – C – Dodgers
- Jose Abreu – 1B – White Sox
- Tim Anderson – SS – White Sox
- Byron Buxton – OF – Twins
- Alek Thomas – OF – Diamondbacks
- BONUS …………… Shohei Ohtani – OF – Angels
[spacer height=”20px”]

CORE PLAYS
Trevor Story
Tim Anderson
Marcell Ozuna – I think a lot will go full Atlanta stack and it’s not where I would over invest tonight, but you’ll want Ozuna in my opinion and he is a must play tonight for $4,000 on DraftKings
[spacer height=”20px”]
BETTING PLAYS
Shohei Ohtani Anytime HR – Yes
Boston Red Sox ML
Chicago White Sox ML
Cubs/Dodgers OVER 8.5
