Lets go! Another week is upon us and I have heard some great reviews over the first two weeks. We have kind of an odd mix of games on this slate today and I really like the overall feel on the slate because there are a good number of games we just throw out the window.
Here’s the break down from a Tiers perspective on the best and worst games
Top Games
- Purdue at Syracuse
- Western Kentucky at Indiana
- Kansas at Houston
- Oklahoma at Nebraska
Could be worth a look
- Penn State at Auburn
- Ole Miss at Georgia Tech
- Vanderbilt at Northern Illinois
- BYU at Oregon
Straight Ass (For DFS)
- Georgia at South Carolina … Not shocked if the Cocks are up at halftime though.
- Cincinnati at Miami (OH) … Miami covers
- Colorado at Minnesota
- Cal at Notre Dame
- South Alabama at UCLA – What the fuck is this?

Purdue at Syracuse
There is one of two scenarios in this game. Either it goes to the moon or it’s more of a ground it out back and forth game up in the Carrier Dome but in either scenario we have exposure in this game.
We have one of my favorite RB in the country in Sean Tucker who leads the way with Syracuse and YES he can be stacked with rushing QB Garrett Shrader as well for the Orange. Purdue is going to likely have a great game from Aidan O’Connell this week and I would bank on a 2 TD game from either Charlie Jones or TJ Sheffield.
- Sean Tucker (8900)
- Aidan O’Connell (7500)
- Charlie Jones (8000)

Oklahoma at Nebraska
Scott Frost is gone and generally a college team dumping their coach this early in the season does cause a spark within the program. So put the Sooners on a little upset alert early in this game but in the end I don’t see how Dillon Gabriel doesn’t produce enough to make him a nice contrarian pay up spot at QB.
- Dillon Gabriel (9500)
- Marvin Mins (8900)
- Casey Thompson (6800)
- Trey Palmer (4200)

Kansas at Houston
So raise your hand if you are sitting on a Kansas OVER 2.5 Wins bet with them being 2-0?

Something tells me I’m going to be sitting on it for a while though. They are coming off the road upset in Morgantown and now have to go deal with Clayton Tune and Nathaniel Dell, but we cannot be blind and sleep on the ground as TaZhawn Henry for Houston at $4,000 is a nice value sleeper and I’m calling him getting in the box.
- HOU: Clayton Tune, TaZhawn Henry, Nathaniel Dell
- Kansas: Jalon Daniels, Lawrence Arnold

Penn State at Auburn
These teams facing off have no right coming out and playing some 6-3 game like the public might expect. I believe they’ll both be very loose and quite hte contrarian spot today.

MY GUYS
AIDAN O’CONNELL – Purdue – $7,500
My top QB today as I expect the Purdue offense to go through him today.
CASEY THOMPSON – Nebraska – $6,800
Thompson could have the whole workload put on his shoulders this week vs Oklahoma. I don’t see Nebraska’s defense doing enough to stop Gabriel the whole game and so Thompson will have to produce. His value makes him a higher ranked play than Gabriel.
DILLON GABRIEL – Oklahoma – $9,500
Gabriel has yet to throw over 300 yards in a game but with Nebraska giving up 6.5 yer attempt I think he will hit that over and also do a little damage on the ground in this game as well. It’s a steep price but the 300 yard passing bonus and 3+ TD floor should give him reason to be considered.

MY GUYS
SEAN TUCKER – Syracuse – $8,900
Explosive RB who should touch the ball a ton (24+ carries) and has a big shot at being a slate breaker with a triple TD game.
SHAUN SHIVERS – Indiana – $6,100
Home RB who is very cheap and will get the majority of his teams work. Indiana should benefit greatly from playing in the up tempo environment with Western Kentucky, and so he’s a near automatic chalk lock today.

ALSO LIKE
TaZhawn Henry – Houston – $4,000
Tank Bigsby – Auburn – $5,600
[spacer height=”20px”]

MY GUYS
CHARLIE JONES – Purdue – $8,000
The number one weapon in this Purdue offense is now Jones from a volume perspective and he has the trust of his QB, plus faces a defense which hasn’t been lock down in allowing passes to get completed against them. I see big play potential from fellow WR TJ Sheffield but Jones is the steady volume play.
WILL SHEPPARD – Vanderbilt – $5,500
I sure as hell don’t trust Vanderbilt on the road as a favorite (very slight favorite) so I won’t go full Vandy like others will but Will Sheppard at $5,500 getting nearly 30% targets is a great way to get some exposure on the Commodores.
TREY PALMER – Nebraska – $4,200
Game flow and target share works to make Palmer this weeks just lock him in and move on play.
[spacer height=”20px”]
VALUE
DAEWOOD DAVIS – Western Kentucky – $5,200
CAM CAMPER – Indiana – $4,800
MATTHEW GOLDEN – Houston – $4,200
[spacer height=”20px”]
CONTRARIAN
LAWRENCE ARNOLD – Kansas – $6,700
PARKER WASHINGTON – Penn State – $6,100

RANKING THE POSITION DEPTH
Wide Receiver is the deepest position based on salaries this week. Good spot to load up on.

FANDUEL EXTRA GAMES
SMU at Maryland is going to get all the chalk, with a total of 73 and these two strong passing games, there’s little reason to not jump on this game. Load up on Rakim Jarrett on FanDuel for $6900
USF vs Florida is the premiere game which is only on FanDuel compared to DraftKings. Anthony Richardson is better than Gabriel on FanDuel and for only 1k more should be looked at compared to O’Connell at QB or in Super-Flex. I like Florida to keep their starters in for the whole game and compile lots of fantasy goodness.
LSU is going to beat Mississippi State
Texas Tech vs N.C. State is one of the better games on the day but nothing in DFS stands out to me.

CORE BUILD
QB – Adrian O’Connell
RB – Sean Tucker
RB – Shaun Shivers
WR – Trey Palmer
