A larger than normal Friday slate but with a lot of random teams on it. Quite honestly, it doesn’t move the needle much, but we have picks to be made.
- East Kentucky vs East Michigan
- Virginia Tech vs ODU
- Western Michigan vs Michigan State
- William & Mary vs Charlotte
- Temple vs Duke
- TNTC vs Kansas
- Illinois vs Indiana
- TCU vs Colorado

None of these games are what we would consider ‘great’ spots tonight and there’s only one I would consider stacking up. Outside of that it’s just an ‘optimal’ build kind of slate.
Eastern Kentucky vs Eastern Michigan
- QB – Taylor Powell (EMU)
- WR – Hassan Beydoun (EMU)
- WR – Tanner Knue (EMU)
- RB – Braedon Sloan (EKU)

Taylor Powell – Eastern Michigan – $7,500
Tonight’s heavy chalk as Eastern Michigan is the team who gets a cake match-up at home vs Eastern Kentucky. But it’s not as cake as some from last night so we should see him have to do some late 4th quarter work here.
Grant Wells – Virginia Tech – $8,000
The VT backfield is a little in question which opens up the door for them to let Wells do more against Old Dominion.

Chase Brown – Illinois – $5400
LOL at Chase Brown being $5400. Come on… The guy is going to be a beast all season and should probably come in around 90% owned tonight. There is almost no reason to fade him outside of being a douchebag.
Jaylen Coleman – Duke – $6200
Temple’s defense is generally on the field a good amount and thus the natural attrition leads to opponents racking up rushing yards on them. Coleman is expected to get the first crack here among a trio of guys and this is a talented offensive line that made Mateo Durant a stud last season. Ride the Blue Devils RB.
Braedon Sloan – EKU – $4200
Sloan should be the most reliable option among the EKU players in a game that could wind up being closer than it should be.

Hassan Beydoun – Eastern Michigan – $7800
One of our favorites from the MAC is back and Beydoun is going to be costly but should top 100 yards. You can pair him and Knue to roll a full EMU stack too.
Jayden Reed – Michigan State – $7300
I like both Reed and TCU WR Quentin Johnston as a second pay up WR option today and both are solid but this is where we take Reed to get his volume and a home game touchdown to start things off.
DaWain Lofton – VT – $4,800
I am buying into the VT Passing attack tonight as they’re without their primary RB and are implementing a new offensive scheme against a weaker opponent. Look for Grant Wells to sling it and Sophomore Lofton who started to get some run late last season could fall under the radar early.
Corey Crooms – Western Michigan – $6400
The Spartans were horrific in the secondary in 2021 and a lot of that falls on having to face some good competition last year in the Big 10 but even though they could be improved in that department it’s still an obvious spot to pick on.
