CFB DFS Tailgate: Sep 30th

Don’t look now but the Washington Huskies are relevant and are part of the headline game today on a five game CFB Friday Night slate.

The Games

• Washington at UCLA
• Tulane at Houston
• UTSA at MTSU
• New Mexico at UNLV
• San Diego State at Boise State

Washington at UCLA

This isn’t the type of game that you go full crazy with stacking a total of 6 guys in, but I see a very concentrated game through both Quarterbacks and a primary WR option on each side for us.

Washington:

• QB – Michael Penix
• WR – Jake McMillan

UCLA:

• QB – Dorian Robinson-Thompson
• WR – KazMeier Allen

Texas-San Antonio vs Middle Tennessee State

This game on the other hand does have a full passing stack to build around on the UTSA side

UTSA:

• QB – Frank Harris
• WR – Zakhari Franklin
• WR – DeCorian Clark

MTSU:

• RB – Frank Peasant
• WR – Izaiah Gathings

For just having 5 games we have a TON of good Quarterback options.  You can go two deep with ease tonight and would probably be stupid not too.

DORIAN THOMPSON-ROBINSON – UCLA – $8,100

The Huskies are ranked 20th against the run thus far but that is a stat which I do not factor much when it comes to a rushing QB.  DRT has rushed it 7 times each time he has ran the ball and is likely called upon to do it more this week.  I think in a game flow which should suit consideration he is worth the spend up.

FRANK HARRIS – UTSA – $6,800

Harris has the 2nd most passing TD on this slate but draws the team who has allowed the highest % of their TD via the air in Middle Tennessee State.  The price is just too good to pass up.

Frank Peasant – MTSU – $5,100

When the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee St aren’t watching Frank Harris throw all over them they’re going to be leaning on a ground game led by Frank Peasant who is averaging 4.63 YPC and has 6 TD on the season.

Aidan Robbins – UNLV – $6,800

Robbins gets the ball 20+ times, is averaging 5.27 YPC with 7 touchdowns and is a 2 TD favorite at home.  He’s going to score and he’s going to get the work to push him near a 100 yard bonus.

George Holani – Boise State – $6,700

Another game with a low total but no reason to not consider the man who should have the ball most of the game for Boise.  This isn’t an automatic 3 deep RB slate, but he comes in third on the list

MY GUYS

Zakhari Franklin – UTSA – $7,500

Lots of leverage here to consider a secondary or third option from UTSA, but on the road we should see Frank Harris go through Franklin 10+ times and the MTSU defense isn’t a shutdown team to worry about him puttin gup a dud.  Certainly Joshua Cephus (7.0k) and my guy this week DeCorian Clark (6.5k) are good #2 options in a full stack.

Kazmeir Allen – UCLA – 6,000

Allen should get work out of the slot for UCLA and be able to use his speed to exploit Washington’s secondary today.

Jalen McMillan – Washington – $7,100

Favorite route to get exposure on Washington passing game is the man who should have the most catches in this game obviously, duh!  McMillan has had near double digit targets in 3 of 4 and should be on that pace again on Friday.
