MACTion Tailgate: 11/9

Kent State at Bowling Green

Should be a great night for both passing attacks as the weather will be nice and the pass defenses will be trash.  A good amount of ownership will go to Kent State RB Marquez Cooper who is certainly a viable pick but I would focus on the WR and QB first in this game

  • QB – Collin Schlee (Kent)
  • WR – JaShaun Poke (Kent)
  • WR – Christian Sims (BGSU)
  • QB – Matt McDonald (BGSU)

Buffalo at Central Michigan

I think Buffalo is a good team and coming off a loss vs Ohio last week they’re going to have to get past a desperate CMU team who needs to win out to have a shot at Bowl game.

You can run on CMU mostly because you shouldn’t pass on them.  If Buffalo gets their ground game going then they have a shot tonight

  • RB – Ron Cook / Mike Washington (Buffalo)
  • RB – Lew Nichols (CMU)

Collin Schlee – Kent St – $8,300

Schlee does enough with his legs that I think we can definitely see him keep a rushing TD tonight and take it away from Cooper.  He’s the most safe pick at QB today.

Jase ‘Taysom’ Bauer – Central Michigan – $7,100

Bauer’s going to run it and that’s a good thing vs Buffalo.  He averages over 68 YPG on the ground, has 4 rushing touchdowns and Buffalo has been heavy on giving up rushing TD over passing TD.  There’s no reason for CMU to keep rolling Daniel Richardson out for passing attempts tonight.  All in on the Jase ‘Taysom’ Bauer train.

Matt McDonald – Bowling Green – $8,000

As good of a potential 20+ game as McDonald will get, but I don’t see him posting a 30 without Schlee going off too, so Schlee is the better optimal build and I would pair them together in a gamestack only.

Lew Nichols – Central Michigan  – $6,900

Nichols probably is 95% owned and on a three game slate you need no other analysis then that because either you are a person who doesn’t mind fading the best player on the board at 95% or you are smart and you play him.

Ron Cook Jr – Buffalo – $6,100

Marquez Cooper – Kent State – $7,100

JaShaun Poke – Kent State – $4,900

We have a potential for lots of value in the Kent State passing game.  The BGSU pass defense is bad and Kent State is likely down Dante Cephas and Devontez Walker.  This brings in the Senior Poke and Senior TE Kris Leach along with Freshman Trell Harris.

Corey Crooms – WMU – $7,400

Crooms is the best WR on the board, he gets 35% of the teams target share and is in a favorable reception and TD matchup vs the NIU secondary.

Quian Williams ($5800) & Justin Marshall – Buffalo – $5,300

Justin Marshall and Quian Williams are both equal tonight, Marshall saves $500 but see’s less targets typically.

Christian Sims – BGSU – $4,600

Pair with McDonald only

Tyrone Broden – BGSU – $5,200

Pair with McDonald only.

RANKING THE POSITION DEPTH

Spend up at QB and RB tonight and spend down at WR.
