On the Dashboard/Lineups page this 4PM slate is considered ‘Afternoon’ and the evening 5 game slate is considered the ‘Main’ slate.
I will not have an article for the second late slate tonight, so some thoughts overall for it will be at the bottom of this article. All total we have 8 games in this 4PM window and 5 late.
WEATHER
STL at PIT … Chance of storms right around first pitch, game will play though, so worst case there is a slight delay before they begin.
PHI at WSH … Hot, Hot, Hot.
MIL at CIN … Hot, Hot, Hot.

TOP ARMS
Eury Perez (DK: 8700)
The young kid gets a nice comfortable home game with Oakland on tap. His stuff is too good to worry about a limited ceiling on pitches thrown today.
SP2 CHOICES
Cristian Javier (DK: $10.6k)
Javier should be the top overall scoring SP, but his price ranks him as #1 compared to Perez who I think is very safe to use. Overall that’s our DK combination.
Jose Berrios (DK: $9400)
One spot where it is not excessively hot today is New York and the wind is also going to be blowing in, so the combination of a big park, an old lineup, mediocre weather and throw out that Berrios should get some early inning runs to give him the lead puts him in a great spot today. His recent form is good despite 5 walks vs his former team last start out, so I expect that to come back to better form today and 6+ IP with 1K per inning is our goal.

BREWERS
Yelich, Tellez, Contreras, Anderson, Taylor, Bernie the Brewer
They’re all going yard. The Graham Ashcraft experience is long and dead and if he breaks up the Milwaukee lock of the weekend stack then tip of the cap to the crafty Ass-man.
MARINERS
France, Kelenic, Hernandez, Suarez
This is one of those 3-true outcome spots where you’ll get a strikeout, a walk or a homer off Andrew Heaney. Kelenic is a very contrarian spot here and should do damage off the Rangers bullpen if given a good opportunity with men on base.

CATCHER
- William Contreras
- Tyler Stephenson
- Mitch Garver
FIRST BASE
This is a very simple position today, I wouldn’t touch anyone not out of these three as there are a lot of cold batters overall here, so its guys in great spots or Goldy.
- Rowdy Tellez
- Ty France
- Paul Goldschmidt
SECOND BASE
Shockingly this is the best position today, good spot to double down on FD.
- Nolan Gorman
- Jose Altuve
- Luis Arraez
- Marcus Semien
THIRD BASE
- Brian Anderson
- Maikel Garcia
- Nick Senzel

ABOUT THOSE NIGHT GAMES
Guardians at Twins … Some rain pre game here to monitor. Gotta like Sonny Gray, even though this is a typical Sonny pitch 85 pitches, strikeout 1 batter (Zunino for sure) but not allow any runs. Kinda boring for $9500 but reliable no doubt. Logan Allen will have a drop off start, but not a crash and burn start. Really got no hitters in this game outside of Jorge Polanco who I trust.
Yankees at Dodgers … So these two had their fireworks last night and now have a 4PM local time start in LA for this one. Expect more fireworks although things could hit a wall around the 7th inning. All Max Muncy does is homer and he should do that here again off Cole, who I think serves up 2 HR today (Muncy/Freeman and maybe Outman snaps out), but if we aren’t using Rizzo then we are stupid. Michael Grove will be cautious with Judge and serve up a HR to Rizzo in fear of having to face Stanton after him. Yankees win, game is going over.
Orioles at Giants … This is not a 4PM local start, its in the regular 7PM local San Francisco time window. The Giants hitters have very strong ratings against Bradish, probably because they’ll hit sliders from RHP decently. Giants should win the game, making Cobb a solid play at $7500 but I’m not expecting their offense to live up to the projections.
Braves at Diamondbacks … Ooof, thats a big price for Spencer on a 5 game slate versus a really good lineup right now, but I think it will pay off. Take him as #1 SP and move on as Atlanta is gonna put up a 9 spot on Arizona, so its value hunting time in this lineup. I like Acuna/Abies pairing and Marcell Ozuna as well.
Cubs at Padres … Darvish versus his old friends the Cubs, although none of these guys were there when he was. Snoozefest game, Yu is underpriced given his recent struggles but will bounce back today.
