I know you will want to be betting the HR Derby, it’s a fun way to spend Monday night when there isn’t much of anything else going on in the Sports World. Do not bother asking me about All-Star game DFS. It’s a bingo card, it’s for fun, do whatever the hell you want with that.
The Derby is pretty close to it as well, but I do think there’s a slight edge in reading the players motivation as well as their energy to get through a full HR Derby. We saw Ohtani when it was in Coors struggle at times with that and I know this is one of the reasons Alonso does so well is because by the time he gets to the final around he’s not as worn down as everyone else.
There is also the weight of value in betting and the odds presented and because so many + odds are available, it’s worth taking multiple picks.
