I prefer team stacks over game stacks this week. Sure, the Penn St/Ohio St game has a ton of eyeballs on it for good reasons, but I just don’t see either team posting a 30 spot today.
OREGON (vs Washington State)
- Bo Nix – Oregon
- Troy Franklin – Oregon
- Kyle Williams – Washington St
TEXAS (at Houston)
- Quinn Ewers – Texas
- Jonathan Brooks – Texas
- Xavier Worthy – Texas
- Samuel Brown – Houston
MEMPHIS
- Seth Henigan – Memphis
- Blake Watson – Memphis
- Demeer Blankumsee – Memphis
- Jermaine Brown – UAB
- Garrett Greene – West Virginia – $7800 … I love Greene and WVU in general. Laying just 3 at home against OK St who is coming off back to back home games where they had their heads up in the clouds. Country roads, take me home, mountain mama, or whatever the words are… Take me fucking home GG…
- Kurtis Rourke – Ohio – $5700 … Just too cheap? It does feel like it for Rourke who has shown he can throw for 300 and 3 when he is healthy and given the right match-up. They’re at home against a middle of the road pass defense. He should hit 250 yards passing and 2 TD for sure, which for $5700 makes him one of 2 QB to consider.
- KJ Jefferson – Arkansas – $7600
Other QB Notes
- Mike Wright will be a value chalky play for Miss St. I would lean on him in a QB game stack with KJ Jefferson only.
- Seth Henigan is the other chalky option, he makes sense, but go overloaded on Memphis if you do go there.
- Jonathan Brooks – Texas – $7400 … If you have ZERO Longhorns today you are probably drawing dead last. That’s just my take as I think they’re gonna throttle Houston offensively with Brooks doing the most damage, much like we saw Bucky Irving do vs Washington last week.
- Jermaine Brown – UAB – $6200 … Good tempo here and volume should increase. Expect him to be in the 17-24 FPTS range.
- Blake Watson – Memphis – $7300 … Normally I’m not big on road RB, but another team I can see stacking up is Memphis even down at UAB. The Blazers are 126th against the run and allowing 60%+ touchdowns via the ground.
- Marcus Major – Oklahoma – $5200 … He could lose some volume to other options here, so that’s obviously a downside, but the OU backfield is likely to combine for 3 touchdowns today and I don’t see him not getting one with also 70-80 yards.
- Emmanuel Mitchell – Air Force – $5800
This is kind of a weird WR slate. Each of the big guys can go off and I mean way off today, but there’s too many mid range options which are in good game flows for late October and should see 30%+ target share. We ride that when we can allowing us to have a nice balanced lineup across the board.
- Sam Wiglusz – Ohio – $6400 … Easy plug and play with Rourke
- Andrew Armstrong – Arkansas – $6000 … Won’t see a massive target share, but I like the pace potential on this game and expect Arkansas to have to throw it more.
- Isaiah Williams – Illinois – $5800 … 30% target share, which translates into 10+ targets and should catch 7 or 8 of them this week.
- Xavier Worthy – Texas – $6500 … A stack option in Longhorns stacks.
- Troy Franklin – Oregon – $8200 … Washington State ranks dead last on this slate in passing YPG allowed, they’re also getting Oregon off a week when they road the ground game and the WR are going to get fed here. It’s a high price for a blowout potential spot, but also if Oregon starts slow then we’re gonna see Franklin roll with a 2 TD game.
DRAFTKINGS CORE OPTIONS
- Garrett Greene
- Jonathan Brooks
- Sam Wiglusz
- Isaiah Wiliams
LINEUP CONSTRUCTION
- UPDATE: After tinkering some, I found that going 4 WR really makes a ton of sense today with lots of good mid-range value there and the Memphis WR value is pretty good to consider as well. I would anticipate many Mike White chalk builds ta QB where folks pay up ta RB because of his value. Greene is still my QB though.
- Not feeling a heavy game stack slate, but single team stacks like Oregon, Texas and Memphis could turn out to be profitable
