I would say that we’re getting into the really good portion of Bowl season and honestly this Friday WILL DEFINITELY have a wild and crazy bowl game buried in it somewhere, but there’s also a good amount of “we sucked just enough to not be relevant” teams and guys completely opting out making some of these less than appealing over the next two days before the main event on Monday.
Clemson vs Kentucky – Gator Bowl
Not a ton of impacts here, Clemson is without a few starters, mostly on defense in the secondary, but the Kentucky offense likely won’t be able to take advantage of that too much. Beaux Collins has transfered for Clemson, which does lead to likely more Antonio Williams opportunities in the passing game. If you trust Devin Leary then I can see Kentucky doing well in the passing game. But “well” should be tempered.

Oregon State vs Notre Dame – Tony the Tiger Bowl
This, my friends, is NOT the game that will go off… Oregon State is coachless and QB less. Sam Hartman is out, as is Audric Estime for Notre Dame, a few lineman, a few corners and word is the mascot even is opting out of going to this shit-hole game… Sure, we can lure some value with Notre Dame playing a bunch of backups but then, what fun is that.

Memphis vs Iowa State – Liberty Bowl
This is the obvious game to “go off”, it’s gonna have heavier ownership given the total and everyones trust in Memphis to put up some points even as a 10 pt dog. Both sides are fairly clean in terms of availability on the key players.

Missouri vs Ohio State – Cotton Bowl
Now this is my sneaky spot. Missouri had a ‘surge’, ‘show me’ season (see what I did there?) and is going to finish strong. Ohio State has a little desperation mode here where they could use a feel good Bowl win to shake off losing to Michigan yet again. Ohio State QB Kyle McCord has bolted Columbus and obviously Marvin Harrison Jr. will not play here, but do not be shocked if Ryan Day has his team ready to go and the offense playing aggressive.

There is a strong trend right now where the ‘new kid’ Quarterback coming in has shined for teams. That and the fact that we have a yucky slate here for Quarterbacks has me focused on one area only… Yes, a QB wearing #33!
Devin Brown – Ohio State … Look, I cannot sell you very well on Brown. The guy was beat out by Kyle McCord who was so bad that he is going to Syracuse now. But here’s the upside. Maybe it was just the bad coaching decision which caused Brown to not win the job? He has a big arm and he has talent at WR even without Harrison. If this game shoots out like I expect, Brown will have a big game for DFS with rushing yards and a couple bomb touchdowns. Mixed in with a bunch if bad throws in between.
He is the only QB I like today. But Rocco Becht (Iowa St), Brady Cook (Missouri) and Seth Henigan (Memphis) are all in play as S-FLEX options.
Abu Sama – Iowa State … Big play threat is hard to ignore. Memphis ranked 100th against the run and gave up 21 total rushing TD on the season. The biggest game of the day and the best home run hitter in the game. Silly not to use him.
Cody Schrader – Mizzou … You are what you are and I see no reason why Missouri wont try to lean on Schrader. He was great in the SEC and should have the ball enough to produce success vs Ohio State.
Jeremiyah Love – ND … Both Love and Jadarian Price are cheap and expected to be the primary options for the Irish ground game. While they are down some OL too, this is one spot which has been a system play for a few years now, Irish running backs.
TreyVeon Henderson – Ohio State … Could be a late opt out.
Ray Davis – Kentucky
Carnell Tate – Ohio State – $3500 … All signs point to Tate jumping into the void with Harrison and Fleming out. It’s natural to just go with Egbuka, who is only $6000 and most certainly will see a bump from his normal target share, but we essentially get the new WR1 here for $3500. Best value of the bowl season so far at WR.
Roc Taylor – Memphis – $6300 … My favorite play today, he is going to score.
Jaylin Noel – Iowa State – $6400 … Should have a solid target volume and at $6400 is the perfect third WR with the two above.
Antonio Williams – $4400 – Clemson
