Highlighted teams are playoff teams. Obviously I have a few VERY bold calls here, specifically with the Pirates, Marlins, Giants and Tigers. But the one I really am going to push the hardest is Seattle winning the AL West and potentially winning the AL as well. I say potentially because it’s always just a gut lean this early in the year and there is no reason to make your futures picks on the World Series until after Memorial Day.

- Pittsburgh and Detroit are both in weak divisions, they are young teams who can play above their heads and finally will pitch well.
- The Marlins are the BIG sleeper here and have a great clubhouse atompshere with better pitching than people are giving them credit for.
- San Francisco is just the typical Giants putting together veterans and pieces that work together to win a bunch of one run games. They’re that “Get Lucky every other night” team for 2024.
