METS at NATIONALS
Keeping with great traditions the Nationals will host an 11 am game on the 4th of July downtown. Historically this game has always felt like a high scoring spot as it doesn’t play like a normal morning game should. The weather today is going to be beneficial for the ball carrying as well and Jake Irvin with a .502 xSLG to Lefties and Quintana being a southpaw for Lane Thomas sets this up for a couple homers early in this game.

CARDINALS at PIRATES
Somehow, someway, the Cardinals managed to choke their game last night after a late comeback. Momentum is not a thing in Baseball they say, but when Andre Pallante gives up a lead off homer to Andrew McCutchen it might feel like it is. After that though, he should settle down once his curveball starts to feel comfortable. He has a lifetime 7+ ERA in the first inning but gets much better as the game moves on.
