Boston College vs Nebraska (Pinstripe Bowl)
- Nothing extreme for opt outs
- We have RAIN projected all game long and this is at Yankee Stadium. I swear every Pinstripe Bowl game has a defensive score in it.
Louisiana-Lafayette vs TCU (New Mexico Bowl)
- Jack Bech and Savion Williams have opted out for TCU
- RB Cam Cook (TCU) is also out (transfer)
Iowa State vs Miami (Florida): (Pop-Tarts Bowl)
- Cam Ward says he will play, but how much we’ll see…
Miami (Ohio) vs Colorado State: (Arizona Bowl)
- Miami starting offense and CSU starting defense both have some opt outs/transfers. No real DFS impact.
East Carolina vs North Carolina State (Military Bowl)
- Big one here with KC Concepcion transferring
- ECU WR Winston Wright has opted out last minute for NFL.
BYU vs Colorado (Alamo Bowl)
- Two starters on front 7 for BYU out
- Deion says everyone on Colorado is playing and I believe him.
Louisiana Tech vs Army (Independence Bowl)
- Army is full go
- La Tech is almost a full go
- CJ Bailey (NC State – $6300) … The Bowl God’s are tempting us here with Bailey. He’s prone to put up a really bad score and also prone to throw up a 30 spot.
- Bryson Daily (Army – $10200) … There’s plenty of value, so going 2 QB is going to be easy to do for one of the high end studs. Dailiy is appealing to me even at his high ownership because I think Army finishes off strong like Navy did yesterday
- Josh Hoover (TCU – $7900) … RB is gone, WR are gone. Who takes over? Sophomore QB seems like the logical guy to just carry the load. There’s plenty of value here so we can play two QB without any concerns.
OTHER QB THOUGHTS
- Cam Ward (Miami) … You’re either all in on both Miami and Iowa State in this game and trusting that the stars play or you completely fade the game. It’s that simple and if you are IN on the game, then you are in on Cam Ward. For DFS — I’m more likely to spread it out on main lineup, but I do not have a problem doing a full game stack here in a second lineup. The game could get wild.
- Shadeur Sanders (Colorado) … Unlike Ward, I dont think this game remains close and the temptation to play the full way isn’t there. As they say in Shark Tank … For that reason, I’m out.

This is a tricky RB slate. There’s really some question mark AND/OR situations who are all really cheap.
TCU
Start here. TCU is down their two best WR and #1 RB. Enter in the two options being True Freshman Jeremy Payne ($3000) and Trent Battle ($3600). I like both, but I would lean more on the Freshman. Both should have success.
Louisiana-Lafayette
We have a situation with ULL that nobody should feel great about between Bill Davis and Zylan Perry, but TCU’s rush defense could be vulnerable — especially early.
THE BEST INDIVIDUAL OPTIONS
- Emmett Johnson (Nebraska – $5400) … Love Nebraska as this is a big statement game going into next season for Rhule. Sloppy track possibly as well, so lean more on the RB.
- Damien Martinez (Miami FL – $6100)
- Avery Morrow (Colorado State – $5900)
- Rahjai Harris (ECU – $6500)
- Eric McAlister (TCU – $4200) … Next men up for TCU and I could justify this being in the AND/OR column below with JP Richardson. TCU is not suddenly going to turn into a power offense and slow it down. They’re gonna go fast.
- Jaylin Noel (ISU – $7400) … He and Higgins both are expected to play. We gotta take them for their word here on this game or completely fade it all together on both sides. That’s my take and one should not think that the Pop Tart Bowl is going to be a dud.
- Lance LeGrende (ULL – $4900)
SECOND TIER
- Decari Collins (NC State – $3600)
- Lewis Bond (BC – $5200)
- Jacorey Barney (Nebraska – $5100) … Nebraska by 30. Barney and/or Johnson score twice.
- Anthony Smith – East Carolina … Senior and should benefit from an up-tempo game vs NC State.
- All of the Miami WR’s to pair with Cam Ward.
