Back to some normal Saturday slates as FanDuel has VERY Early and then just Early. DraftKings, meanwhile has a solid seven game slate locking up at 2PM. WEATHER Mets at Cardinals and Padres at Pirates are two games with likely rain in them. I think both should be able to hold off and get the games in. Twins at Red Sox could see a slight delay. HUNTER BROWN (DK: $10,900) The price is correct here on Brown after they dropped him down a couple weeks back. He has not allowed a home run since Opening Day & is one of the best pitchers in the game and no, the White Sox are not winning again. TYLOR MEGILL (DK: 8800) He’s pitching well & the Cardinals as noted last night are not knocking the socks off anyone. We can get by with Megill because he is getting strikeouts & I have no doubts the Mets win today JORDAN HICKS (DK: $7900, FD: $8200) So Hicks has thrown over 90 pitches in four of his 6 starts this year and twice he has gone over 100, which is not something that has ever been common for the previously injury prone reliever turned starter now as a Giant. I really think there are red flags here with him — the guy gave up 7 hits to the Rangers for crying out loud. But this is Colorado and he should give you 5 innings, 5 strikeouts and limited runs allowed. OTHER PITCHING THOUGHTS Gavin Williams will be better today — but not perfect. We’ll be attacking him still. If you want to just PUNT SP2 – Davis Martin…. Just make sure you are ready to start your Kentucky Derby drinking early. METS Lindor, Alvarez, Winker Really want Alvarez who is hitting great away from Citi Field to be in. The value with him, Winker or Nimmo and McNeil/Acuna at the bottom of the lineup is fantastic, but our overall top play for the Mets is Lindor — he might homer twice in my mind. OTHER HITTING SPOTS BLUE JAYS (Vlad, Gimenez, Santander): This game has juice to it. TWINS/RED SOX: Twins are the easier side to plug in & Dobbins is vulnerable to hit a rough spot eventually. Weather is ideal for some big innings. PIRATES (Cruz, McCutchen, Hayes) CATCHER Francisco Alvarez Agustin Ramirez FIRST BASE Ty France Pete Alonso…...
