Things are all spread out today with two early games (Orioles/Yankees and Tigers/Rays) and then the MAIN slate with 6 on DraftKings (7 on FD), a good sized Afternoon slate and then the Sunday Night Baseball match-up between the Mets and Phillies.
WEATHER
All games play and all games very warm. Once again the wind in Wrigley is going to be blowing out, but not as much as yesterday — doesn’t matter though, plan on another drunk afternoon in the Bleachers but expect all games to be relevant for DFS today.
With just 6 games on DK and the FD game being Coors, we’re limited in pitching choices. Logan Gilbert made his return earlier this week but this is the game you gotta be concerned with for him as he is definitely likely to give up 2 (I think 3) homers today.
CHRIS BASSITT (DK: $8500, FD: $9600)
Lefties who don’t have a ton of power is great for Bassitt. Is he going to throw a complete game shutout? No, he’s definitely giving up some hard contact early to Tauchman or Benintendi, but after that there’s a clear path to settling in and pitching 6+ IP, grabbing the win and sending the White Sox home losers once more.
SANDY ALCANTARA (DK: $6900, FD: $7300)
Second choice today gets split between Elder and Alcantara & it’s hard to imaging folks not going here for a pitcher — I lean on the Marlins side on a Sunday following some Braves south beach partying. Sandy threw 100 PC last time, his highest in a month but did get 6 days rest between starts.
SUNDAY SLEEPER

MARINERS / CUBS
Back for more fun in Wrigley. You gotta make some educated guesses here on these guys. Colin Rea is decent vs RHH, but JP Crawford, Cal Raleigh and Luke Raley are likely candidates to go off on him. For the Cubs Seiya Suzuki didn’t do anything yesterday and is generally a streaky guy — he is 2 for 25, so is he due? Yeah. But is he the OF to pay for here? Probably not. My Cubs bats are Pete-Crow Armstrong and Michael Busch
- SEA: Crawford, Raley
- CHC: PCA, Busch
BREWERS / TWINS
I love this game. The Brewers have come into Minnesota in the warm weather and just destroyed the overrated Twins, but we should be fully aware that Minnesota for some stupid reason is favored with Festa going? The Twins avoid a sweep and are a great reason to play two lineups today because you want one with chalk Wrigley and the second with contrarian Twins…
- MIL: Jackson Chourio, William Contreras

Is it me or is it just wrong that the Seattle Mariners do not have a great power hitting third Baseman. Eugenio Suarez, Kyle Seager, Adrian Beltre, Edgar Martinez … Ben Williamson??? C’Mon. Lets orchestrate a trade that gets Seattle a power hitting 3B. Ryan McMahon anyone???
