CFB DFS Tailgate – Week 2

Quick Analysis:  This slate is a good reminder that sometimes you can just stack a team and forget about the whole game script/game stack aspect.  There are often scenarios where we just ride that one team who will drop 40 points by halftime in a scenario where they’re just getting themselves right.  Today you can definitely convince me of Texas, Penn State and Oregon doing just that.  Maybe even Florida too.

FanDuel Thoughts:  There’s some good night games today and thus FanDuel’s MAIN slate has them included, but not much for DFS exposure.

  • Arizona State at Mississippi State:  Jordyn Tyson should be worth the full price here on FD.  Even for a WR, he’s gonna be chalky at 10k+.  On a thin WR slate he is kinda hard to ignroe.
  • BC at Michigan State:  Pass
  • Michigan at Oklahoma:  Solid game, sneaky over.  Not much DFS love here
  • Vandy at VT:  I like the Hokies, Drones naked is fine.

KANSAS at MIZZOU

Missouri should boat race the Jayhawks & gives us what should be a heavily owned QB-WR cheap stack between Beau Pribula ($6100) & Kevin Coleman ($6100).  Coleman got 7 targets in week one along with Marquis Johnson ($5700).  I don’t see Kansas suddenly becoming a team you only run against, so expect 2+ passing TD here.

The Jayhawks side is fairly straight forward and should be every week when Daniels is playing.  Until they figure out something at RB, it’s Daniels naked.

  • Pribula, Coleman, Daniels

BAYLOR at SMU

Technically this is a pre-Noon start at 11am down in Texas.  Two really good Quarterbacks headline this one, which kinda makes this a go all in or avoid the game completely.  The Baylor funnel through Robertson and his cheap WR though is a great core to build around — especially when they’re throwing late in this game after SMU QB Kevin Jennings tears them up.

  • Robertson, Hawkins, Jennings

SLEEPERS

  • USF vs FLORIDA – This game could go off.  Florida side is a nice stack.

Good slate to ride two QB, but the chalk is gonna be on the two that I like the most.  There’s definitely depth here beyond these top two.

  1. Beau Pribula (Missouri – $6100)
  2. Kevin Jennings (SMU – $8000)

Others who I would roll on secondary lineups

  1. CJ Bailey (NC State) – Nice pivot with his RB1 being chalk and one reason I am not forcing Hollywood in at RB
  2. Sawyer Robertson (Baylor)
  3. Chandler Morris (Virginia)

Solid RB slate today, IMO.  Worth playing 3 RB over 4 WR.

  1. Cameron Dickey (Texas Tech – $7300)
  2. Jadan Baugh (Florida – $6200)
  3. Noah Whittington (Oregon – $5500) … Mid priced home RB in a great game script.  Just need the volume and he could destroy the slate.
  4. Kaytron Allen (Penn State – $7500)

Not the coolest looking slate at WR and especially with the depth at the top of QB and some good RB Options I dont think we’re forcing much more than the 3 mn here on DraftKings…

  1. Kevin Coleman (Mizzou – $6100)
  2. Ashtyn Hawkins (Baylor – $5000)
  3. Eugene Wilson (Florida – $6800)
  4. Justin Joly (NC State – $5400)
