Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi.
We
Are
Back!
Lets fucking jump right in. As always, we give a quick slate breakdown in the Games to Target overview, then my personal rankings on QB, RB, WR and then we go intno the Tailgate plays which breaks down what the CORE lineup is, what your allocation of FLEX/S-FLEX position usage is and then the fun bets/props plays for the day.

Sacramento State versus Eastern Michigan University

I mean, you are here, aren’t you? Did you not read the title when it said WEEK ZERO? I have to admit – a personal note here – that I’ve gone to Europe twice in the past few years and its been strategically scheduled for the Week 0 slate. Now, as someone who has experience traveling, and international traveling, I can tell you, that you do not travel sober. So, lets just chalk this one up to that you should also not play CFB DFS in Week 0 sober. Okay?
- EMU Stack: Noah Kim (QB), Nick Deveraux (WR), Joey Mattord (RB)
- SSU: Jamar Curtis (RB)
Hawaii at Stanford
Gut lean was on Stanford here, but that ole 5.5 point spread trend in all of football is too strong & lets not discount that Hawaii has the better Quarterback, which matters a good amount. In terms of games where you can get exposure on both sides, this is near the top of the list.
UPDATE: Hawaii is now just +4…. Still leaning them.
- HAW: Micah Alejado (QB), Tama Ullata (WR)
- STAN: Micah Ford (RB), Caden High (WR)
USC / FSU Island Stacks
The two big home favorites today. The Trojans coming out and just stomping over San Jose State as a heavy 38.5 point favorite just feels too obvious. Of note, teams who are massive home favorites that are down in the first quarter often times not only dont come back to cover the original spread, they don’t even come back to win.
That cannot be the case here though. FSU & USC individuals are chalk, exposure is smart. RB for USC and WR for FSU.

I expect the passing game for EMU to be enough of a floor for Kim to not only go above 20 DK FPTS but also be in the mix among the top overall Quarterbacks. With Maiva having plenty of RB and potential second half rest I don’t wanna use him & Ashton Daniels is somewhat in the same blowout/avoid boat.
- Noah Kim (EMU – $7400)
- Ashton Daniels (FSU – $8500): Yes, he is in play despite my note above. Of the two at the top, lean him.
SECOND STRING
- Micah Alejado (Hawaii – $6500): Likely without Pofele Ashlock but volume would still get him there.

It starts up top with the two (maybe three) headed monster for USC. As the returning leading rusher, Miller is going to get enough IMO to just beat up on San Jose State. His attrition is 5 yard gain, 8 yard gain, oer and over with one or two catches possibly thrown in. Could you use both of them? Yeah. You could.
- King Miller (USC – $7700)
- Micah Ford (STAN – $6300)
- Dallan Hayden (MEM – $5400) … Memphis is an entirely new offense & they face a really new defense at UNLV as well here. It’s interesting because you had a bad rush defense last year, but now revamped and usually with a new defensive coordinator you try to fix the rush defense first. But, it is a good track and this should be a good late night hammer spot. At his price, I think he fits squarely into lineups as a flex option.
SECOND STRING
- JaiDen Thomas (UNLV – $7800) … Good pivot off the USC plays, but hard to see them both failing.
- Jamar Curtis (SSU – $6800) / Davion Godley (SSU – $4500)
- DJ Scott (NDSU – $6900)

A pretty mid to low priced WR slate today and with RB depth, it’s likely we only use three here and just hope for the right value out of them. It starts with the EMU passing game obviously for me. Against Sac State they’re going to throw it early, often and primarily to the veteran Devereaux and Mack. Devereaux’s size and leadership role should get him into the end zone early in this game.
- Nic Deveraux (EMU – $4900)
- Micahi Danzy (Florida State – $5400) – While I love the EMU/Deveraux spot, I think it’s absolutely moronic to overlook the gift play in the Florida State room. Early in the year with a heavy home favorite who wont lose or fail to cover (trust me he says) – I dont think you bother with the established clear #1. You feed the confidence into the speedster who is going to have a much larger role this year. He’s taking one to the house for sure.
- Deondre Johnson (Jacksonville State – $5200)
SECOND STRING
- Trent Mosley (USC – $5700)
- TK King (New Mexico State – $5300)
- Harold Mack (EMU – $4600)
- Onterrio Smith Jr (SSU – $4300)
