Week 6: MNF Ambush Special

Two games tonight and some demand for me to put my thoughts down on how the games will play out.

Also no better way to hedge out of a bad main slate than a prime-time action doubleheader.

Slate Overview

KC Chiefs (-5.5) at Buffalo Bills – Over/Under: 55.5

Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys (-1.5) – Over/Under: 55.0

Injuries to monitor

John Brown is questionable for Buffalo, however he is trending towards playing.  No other significant DFS related injuries to monitor for tonight.

Top overall DFS plays

Kyler Murray

All four Quarterbacks tonight offer plenty of reason to consider them, but in the case of Kyler Murray he has not only the best match-up from a passing stand point but also his typical rushing upside.  Murray will be playing back in his home down and should be expected to shine on the big stage.

Amari Cooper

Cooper has dropped down to only $5,500 on DraftKings after a quiet week 5 against the NY Giants.  But once Andy Dalton came into the game he immediately went to Cooper and I suspect Dalton will try to get to Cooper again despite a perceived tough draw against Patrick Peterson.  Cooper’s an affordable play who I like to get involved a lot tonight.

Tyreek Hill

WR Tyreek Hill gets moved around a ton in the Chiefs offense and he’ll be able to get setup away from stud cornerback Tre’Davius White quite often which should produce plenty of opportunities for him to get the ball in space and have a high yardage outcome tonight.

VALUE PLAYS

While the list would run much deeper on Showdown slates with guys like Mecole Hardman and Christian Kirk coming into play there, I wouldn’t find that you need them in your single entry tournaments tonight on the 2 game “Classic” style slate.

Dan Arnold

Dallas is yielding points on a weekly basis to opposing TE and their safeties will have their hands full dealing with help in coverage while the LB have to try and spy Kyler around the goal line.  Dan Arnold shouldn’t be expected to beat out Travis Kelce at TE, but for only $3,000 he can certainly be the value lock you need tonight.

Devin Singeltary

Singeltary likely is the highest owned player on the slate tonight because he’s the most consistent mouth on the Buffalo side and RB is fairly thin with nobody trusting the Chiefs and Cardinals situations.  I have Singletary getting 15 carries in a faster paced game than Buffalo is used too and should do just fine receiving as well.

TOP STACK

Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, Dan Arnold

CONTRARIAN PLAY

Dallas Cowboys Defense

This is not a slate to over think the defense position as nobody is getting a match-up against a bad offense.  So because of that, you don’t want to just take a cheap offense like the Bills and hope for Mahomes to do something he doesn’t do.  Which is take sacks or turn the ball over.  On the flip side as great as Kyler is at accumulating stats, he also does turn the ball over and take sacks, so your upside at defense remains those two items today.
