Back to a three game slate tonight in the MAC West and so we have a little better distribution of the ownership as well as three more competitive games. All three games will be cold (upper 30’s/low 40’s) with no precipitation and winds reasonable in the 9-15 mph range.

QB
Drew Plitt (Ball State)
Drew Plitt to Justin Hall is the top combination on the slate and likely the highest owned spot that you’ll want to have. Ball State will be facing a Northern Illinois defense which has struggled to defend the pass allowing just under 65% of passes to be completed this year and Justin Hall is arguably the most dynamic WR out of this group of MAC teams. His $7,000 DraftKings price is very affordable and we should expect him to get his highest catch game of the season tonight after getting 4 in week one, and 7 last week. This is a spot he’ll haul in 8 or more passes and also go over 100 yards. This is the QB-WR combination I roll with tonight.
RB
Bryant Koback and Shakif Seymour (Toledo) … If Shakif Seymour plays he will score a touchdown. A very sad situation here as his Mother passed away right before their game last week and he wound up not playing the second half. No word on if he will be suited up yet tonight but I would imagine that if he is playing they’ll be more than motivated to get him the ball and this is arguably the best RB match-up out there. He has the talent and they should have opportunities on the ground vs EMU. If Seymour is out then Koback, who is already a top play, becomes the top RB on the board by far.
UPDATE – SEYMOUR IS OUT
Caleb Huntley (Ball State) … I would envision Ball State running away with this game and even as a -13.5 point favorite they seem like the best bet on the board. In a spot where they can pile up 40 points we should definitely consider just going QB-RB-WR stud and taking all the flames
Kobe Lewis (CMU) … This is a game to lean more on the WR, but Kobe at only $6,800 is the best mid range option.
WR
Justin Hall (Ball State) … Hall beats out YoHeinz Tyler and Antwan Davis for me, but all three can be considered if you are going 4 deep at WR today or want to just stack the Ball State air game.
Skyy Moore (WMU) … Western Michigan is going to get 80% of their yards tonight through the air. With Moore being $4900 compared to Eskridge at $7400 this is a no brainer play tonight. Both are seeing over 20% of targets and draw a team who only gives up points through the air.
Khalil Pimpleton (CMU) and Jacorey Sullivan (CMU) … Also both affordable as CMU spreads the ball around. This game should feature lots of passing attempts in it and so I think we have to love the volume opportunities that both bring to the table tonight.
