Not as many games today that I can just wipe off as yesterday where half the slate was essentially an easy DFS fade, but here are the games that I am not looking to “game stack”, with the one offs to consider from each spot & why
Games I am not stacking up
- Georgetown vs Colorado
- Fine with Battey or Schwartz from Colorado but the damage should come from Wright in a lower scoring game. G’Town run ends if Colorado shows up for early start.
- UC Santa Barb vs Creighton
- Should be a fun game, just doesn’t fit in DFS
- Maryland vs UCONN
- Ditto this one. Love the UCONN bigs (Whaley and Sanogo). This is more of a night slate only spot where you could roll Ayala for MD and Bouknight + Sanogo for UCONN
- Abilene Christian vs Texas
- VCU vs Oregon
- Norfolk vs Gonzaga
- Late slate any Gonzaga starter is solid, but they’re priced appropriately enough that we don’t wanna force it.
- UCLA vs BYU
- Eastern Washington vs Kansas
- Kansas has injury news to monitor so there are one offs here like Agbaji and Garrett or McCormack on FD if he does suit up. Not a stack spot though I don’t buy into Kansas losing.
Top Game Stacks
Although the list to wipe games off completely was not as easy today, it’s also not one where there are even game stacks on both sides. Lots of 3 man game stack spots today.
St Bonaventure vs LSU: I don’t think St Bonnies can slow down the pace enough that they want too and neither team plays much of a bench. Giddy up for DFS
- SBU: Holmes, Adaway, Lofton
- Ossuniyi is too expensive IMO with the other options from St Bonnies available, but he has go off potential for sure.
- LSU: Smart, Watford, Thomas
Iona vs Alabama: Welp, here we are stacking up Iona.
- Iona: Gist / Jean Louis / Junior Joseph
- Alabama: Petty / Shackleford / Jones
Mizzou vs Oklahoma: Very tempting game to just stack up, neither team has light it up potential though. Should finish around 67-65 but with OT potential.
- Mizzou: Tilmon (Too cheap), Kobe Brown, Dru Smith, Pinson
- Oklahoma: Alondes Williams (*Best value today*), Harkless, Reeves, Gibson
Grand Canyon vs Iowa: Should be a chalky game given Iowa’s bad defense and pace.
- GC: Blackshear, Midtgaard, Lever
- Iowa: Bohannon/CMC (Guards vs Grand Canyon), Garza (*Only use Garza in game stack IMO, he is today’s single lineup fade)
Tier Two Games
Ohio vs UVA: Upset pick of the day is Ohio over UVA
- OHIO: Jason Preston, Dwight Wilson III
- UVA: Jay Huff, Trey Murphy
UNC Greensboro vs FSU: This all depends on which FSU team shows up. They could win by 30 or lose by 5
- UNCG: Kaleb Hunter (Value), Isaiah Miller (Game stack)
- FSU: Polite, Gray, Barnes
Drake vs USC
- DRAKE: Yesufu, Wilkins
- USC: Both Mobleys
Texas Southern vs Michigan
- TX-SO: Michael Weathers … This is today’s value guy on a bad team that will hit value easily & even in a blowout / John Walker III
- Michigan: Hunter Dickinson, Mike Smith
