It would figure that the one year I pay zero attention to the NHL “Live Final” because it’s not really a live final is the year that the slate falls on a night with 13 games on it. Just about everyone is in play as this is the big hurrah towards the end of the regular season.
TOP STACKS
Carolina Hurricanes – Aho/Svechnikov/Teravainen
In their 7 meetings this season Carolina has had some big outings with a 6 and 7 goal game int he mix. Aho figures to be the center-piece for that and on a big slate like tonight their balanced prices should help establish a good core.
Toronto Maple Leafs – Matthews/Marner/Thornton
Joe Thornton is the pain here, because you’re getting a free plug in with Matthews and Marner and hoping he just runs into one somehow. Matthews has been a rock at home on Saturday’s in his career and the match-up against Vancouver this year has been a near auto 15+ point outing for him to pay off. I like McDavid obviously but he would fit more into a game stack scenario with Calgary.
Philadelphia Flyers – Couturier/Giroux/Voracek
Flyers and Devils are two cheap teams that don’t play defense facing each other again. The Flyers top line has been good in this series and makes the most sense tonight.
Edmonton/Calgary – Lindholm/Tkachuk/Gaudreau & McDavid/Barrie
TOP ONE OFFS
Center – McDavid, Matthews, Lindholm, Kadri, Lars Eller
Wings – P.Kane, Landeskog, Toffoli, Guetnzel, Voracek, Sharangovich, Hoglander,
Defense – Makar, Provorov, Hamilton, Heiskanen, Severson

Juuse Saros (Predators)
Cam Talbot (Wild)
Cayden Primeau (Montreal)
