Okay so I lied and said no early article for today, but technically this won’t be a full article because it’s more just quick notes. I wanted to keep what has been a fairly decent week and was a really good bounce back night last night going strong into the all-star break and this is going to be similar to the quick early only notes I gave in Discord on Thursday of this week.
Weather does not appear to be an issue for the six games starting at 4PM EST, which includes
- Oakland at Texas – If they leave roof open in this heat you go all in here. ALL IN.
- Washington at San Francisco – No shadows, 1PM local start.
- White Sox at Baltimore
- Atlanta at Miami
- Pittsburgh at Mets — G1 of a double header, so 7 inning game and Tyler Anderson vs Marcus Stroman
- Philadelphia at Boston
PITCHING …
James Kaprielian is now seeing Texas for the third time this season, which is a lot for a rookie SP. He went 6 IP in each of the first two allowing 3 HR total and striking out 10. If the roof is open run the heck away, and even if it’s closed I am not putting him up there as #1, but it should be an okay get by spot.
Tyler Anderson and Marcus Stroman have the advantage of 7 inning CG upside in a park not great for hitting against offenses which aren’t great either.
Max Fried and Lucas Giolito are both coming off rough starts but have favorable matchups, I much rather would trust Fried here though.

- The Orioles are very sneaky – Mullins/Mancini/Santander
