All five of the early games are clear for weather. The wind is blowing OUT but not much in Wrigley Field.
Cole Irvin
Irvin is what I would consider the boring but safe option today. Texas gives him a + boost match-up and for $7,500 he is locked in as one of the safter options available.
Carlos Rodon
Rodon had two rough starts vs Milwaukee and KC, but the Cubs are a much better spot for him and between him, Heaney and Ray as the best upside guys today he is head and shoulders above the other two.
Meanwhile I expect Flexen and Heaney to actually bust the chalk hitting in the Seattle/Yankee game and pitch decently, but also see no reason to use them in DFS
Boston Red Sox
Boston is in a spot to win someone five figures today. On a short slate with them having potentially 5% ownership against a LHP who still has that little get wild twitch in him and in a decent ballpark too this is what leaps out to me as that spot I have been referencing for Boston where they just explode onto the scene. We have positive splits spots for Kike, Xander and JD, so load up a five man Boston stack and go all in here.
Chicago White Sox
Jose Abreu has three straight positive games with 2 HR in that stretch and continues to be someone I would target heavily for the next week or so. The strength though against Adbert is going to be Cesar Hernandez, Brian Goodwin and Yoan Moncada.
