MACtion continues with three games on this Wednesday night.
Ball State (-2.5) vs Northern Illinois
- We should look to target Ball State’s ground game as NIU has given up 25 rushing touchdowns on the season and 5.7 ypc. This is the path to attacking them and even with Ball State being led by QB Drew Plitt, there’s too much probability that they have production on the ground to just ignore that situation.
- RB Carson Steele looked great last week and should dominate the volume here tonight, he is only $6,000 so just lock him in.
- North Illinois is in the exact opposite situation as they want to run the ball but will be better served throwing it, we’re going to target Freshman Trayvon Rudolph who leads the way with a 21% target share.
- I would lean the under 61.5 here, but it’s hard to take an under with Ball State, so I expect Ball State to just cover the 2.5.
Toledo (-10.5) vs Bowling Green
- This is an ugly DFS game with a low 49 total (low for MACtion at least), and outside of RB Bryant Koback there’s nothing much on Toldeo that we want.
- There’s good sneaky value on the Bowling Green passing side. The volume isn’t much but the price tags are ideal to find one of these WR at home to have a good game.
- Bowling Green +10.5
Kent State vs Central Michigan (-2.5)
- This is the only GameStack spot of the three tonight
- Both QB, Dustin Crumm (Kent) and Daniel Richardson (CMU) are above average plays tonight and both have solid RB that can be paired in a QB-RB-WR scenario as you want to stack up what really has potential to score 20-30 more points than the other two games today.
- WR Khalil Pimpleton SHINED in the return game last week, so don’t over-react to his big game a week ago but given that he is the same price as Jacorey Sullivan, either are viable to consider but the lean is always with Pimpleton.
- Kent State will score through the air in this game, and it’s worth noting that 10 of Crumm’s 11 passing touchdowns have gone to Cephas (6), Johnson (2) and Abram (2) with none going to RB Marquez Cooper.
