Showdown Strategy
When Kyle Shannahan first went out to the NFC West and started having battles with Sean McVay these two offensive minded coaches had some big time shootouts with some lesser talented skill position players than what they have tonight.
That said, the Rams also have a solid defense and the Niners have an inconsistent offense right now, and the way the league as a whole is playing, we should be cautious with just blinding expecting some big time shootout tonight.
I don’t love the Rams going out and thinking they can add video game names Von Miller and Odell Beckham and automatically launch into the Super Bowl in their home stadium, and to me this is a bad spot vs a Niners team who is really not going anywhere this season and has been terrible at home the last two seasons. For those who buy into “due theory”, the Niners are most certainly due.

Captain Plays
RB – Darrell Henderson (Rams)
Yeah, Cooper Kupp or Odell Beckham or Van Jefferson are all going to be popular. But you beat San Francisco on the ground and with Woods out we lose someone who was taking a few red zone carries as well at times.
WR – Deebo Samuel (Niners)
The only path the Niners have to winning is to get their best play maker the ball in space and away from Ramsey. They gotta get Deebo the ball often in this game and he has the best big play ability.
