Welcome to Selection Sunday!  You lost an hour of sleep but who needs sleep in March anyways.

There are four title games today and all should be exciting to watch.

• Richmond (GO SPIDERS!) vs Davidson
• Texas A&M vs Tennessee
• Memphis vs Houston
• Iowa vs Purdue

RICHMOND vs DAVIDSON

Neither team is great defensively which makes this a viable game stack and one which could be tough to get the perceived stars in.  The last meeting down at Robbins Center in Richmond resulted in a high scoring game won on a 3 pointer from near half court by Davidson.

Richmond has a bunch of key Seniors who were on their really good team two years ago that got kicked out due to the Pandemic and I cannot help but think that they are amending for that and a down year last season.  They will need a big effort from one of these three players though — Matt Grace, Andre Gustavson or forgotten man Nick Sherrod.  Grace and Goose are the most likely ones and both serve as good complimentary second players if you have their star PG Jacob Gilyard.

• Richmond:
  • G – Jacob Gilyard – 8500 … The man who leads their tempo and is the all time steals leader in college basketball.
  • F – Tyler Burton – 7700 … Burton is the most likely to have a big game
• Davidson:
  • F – Hyunjung Lee – 6600 … Easiest play on the board.  81% of minutes, 24% usage, rebounds well, shoots lots of 3’s.  Click, submit.
  • G – Foster Loyer – 6600 .. There will be a lot of ownership on Michael Jones for 1k cheaper but I firmly believe Loyer is going to be a problem for Richmond today and not Jones.
• Best Value:
  • G/F – Andre Gustavson
  • F – Matt Grace (Richmond) … Dont play him with Golden, play him with Gilyard

TEXAS A&M vs TENNESSEE

This is the least desirable of all three games.  Tennessee has played better the last two games than I thought they would in each but today I believe in the Aggies to finish this out in a tough grind it out win.

  • G – Kennedy Chandler

MEMPHIS vs HOUSTON

• Memphis:

IOWA vs PURDUE

For obvious reasons with Iowa and Purdue we have the highest total and the game which is most likely to have the most 3-4 man ownership builds in it.  It will mean finding the right value and on the Purdue side that is easy with Trevion Williams for sure having a big game today and Eric Hunter could see a good boost with the tempo that Iowa brings to warrant using him for only 4600.  Keegan Murray at 9900?  Tough to fade, but there is plenty of other scoring on this slate so that’s how I will roll.

Lots of ownership should go to Ivey after we nailed him yesterday and this to me is going to be a Trevion domination game.
