Overview
With a little bit of chaos during qualifying, there are plenty of drivers starting towards the back of the field due to myriad issues among the field. There will be plenty of chalky drivers towards that back with place differential available in a race that also has plenty of dominator points available. The drivers will turn 200 laps for a total of 300 miles on the 1.5-mile asphalt track of Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Dominators
Justin Allgaier ($10,600), Starting 2nd
Allgaier had one of the best practice sessions and parlayed that into a second-place qualifying effort. Allgaier has never been one to be a dominator-type at Charlotte in his 19 starts here but this will be just his second time starting on the front row. The driver of the 7 car has led 62 or more laps on three occasions this season and Saturday could prove to be another one of those times.
Noah Gragson ($10,800), Starting 7th
Gragson has led the second-most laps in the series this season leading 32 or more laps on five occasions. He’ll be looking to avenge a disappointing 36th-place finish last week after wrecking on the 95th lap. Look for Gragson to bounce back in a big way in a car that posted the second-best practice run over 25-laps turned.
Also Consider:
Josh Berry ($9,600), Starting 4th
Trevor Bayne ($9,800), Starting 6th
Place Differential Targets
Ty Gibbs ($11,000), Starting 36th
This is where the chalk starts. Gibbs won this race last season after starting eighth but on Saturday he’ll start 36th after having equipment issues. In cash games, it’s simple to just start with Gibbs and move on. The idea that he’s the highest-owned driver is not out of the question and neither is the possibility that he’s the highest-scoring in this race.
Riley Herbst ($8,500), Starting 37th
There’s clear chalk in this race as I mentioned before and Herbst fits that category starting one spot behind Gibbs at 37th. On the season Herbst has nine top-10s and an average finish of 11th and he’s started in the 20’s on five occasions so he’s shown the ability to pick up spots throughout a race. He’s finished 12th in his two races at Charlotte and with plenty of P.D. available, he should be another cash-game staple.
Brandon Brown ($7,000), Starting 32nd
Despite driving for himself on this low-funded family-owned race team, Brown has finished in the top 10 (fourth, eighth) in his last 2 races at Charlotte. He’s held his own this season with an average finish of 20th and there’s plenty of P.D. for him starting at 32nd and priced in the mid to lower range.
Also Consider:
Chase McLaughlin ($4,800), Starting 35th
Jeffrey Earnhardt ($7,700), Starting 38th
Anthony Alfredo ($7,600), Starting 30th
Ryan Ellis ($6,500), Starting 29th
GOOD LUCK!!
