Stacks That I Have My Eye On

Below I’ll break down the particular stacks I’m interested and delve into it based on matchup, ability, predicted game script, and collective salary while picking an opposing player or two to run that stack back with if appropriate. *Note: All pricing is DraftKings focused

Detroit Lions (at New York Giants)

QB Jared Goff, WR Amon-Ra St. Brown This could be the highest-scoring game of the early window come Sunday and this stack is predicated on the Giants having a lead at home, more on that below. Goff has locked in on St. Brown over the past three weeks with 11, nine, and 10 targets with St. Brown eclipsing the 100-yard receiving mark just once however. Goff is better at home, this is true, but in order for the Lions to stay in this game, Goff will have to get the ball down the field through the air and St. Brown gives him the best opportunity to do that. Run it Back: RB Saquon Barkley  Despite being a “run back”, Saquon really in the centerpiece of this stack, specifically from a salary perspective where he’s extremely priced up. However, the volume has been there coinciding with the production. Fresh off of a 35 carry, 153-yard rushing effort last week, Barkley will look to do what he’s done all year; shoulder the load for the Giants against the Lions who allowed 258 rushing yards last week to the Bears and are allowing 160.9 such yards per game on the season, 31st in the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys (at Minnesota Vikings)

QB Dak Prescott, WR Michael Gallup Fraudulently the Vikings have only one loss on the season and seemingly everything has broke their way to this point. The Cowboys come into this game 6-3 and are 1.5-point favorites on the road against an 8-1 Vikings team. Seems sketchy but the people in Vegas know what they’re doing. Dallas gets it done in this game through the air and by hooking Dak up with Gallup you get big play upside at a discount and much less ownership than we’ll see with CeeDee Lamb. Run it Back: WR Justin Jefferson If we’re gonna be saving money with Gallup over Lamb, we’ll have to spend it somewhere and that’s where Justin Jefferson comes into play. Jefferson has seen 16 and 13 targets over the last two weeks and despite the Cowboys’ struggles at stopping the run, their secondary has been susceptible as well.
