Looking at a solid 9-game slate with some really good games to target. Slate starts at 7:30 PM tonight, so an extra half hour to get your lineups set up.
The Hornets and Rockets, Lakers and Kings and Thunder and Pacers are all fast paced games that should be high scoring. Good place to start building lineups.
Kawhi Leonard and Paule George are both out tonight.
Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out
Rudy Gobert has been ruled out
With these players out it opens up some value. Look to these teams. Use the Dashboard to see updated projections as the day goes on to help fill in spots.
Anthony Edwards is questionable and if he sits out then I like Kyle Anderson and Naz Reid even more….. Also conisder, Jaylen Nowell.

The Dashboard will provide projections, player ratings along with matchup and other statistics for both Ambush and me (under FB Model). The dashboard feeds the optimizer allowing users to create lineups using (Avg FPs, Ratings, FB Projections, FB Ratings, projected ownership and GPP score). This is a good tool to utilize, and it gives the user a lot of ways to mix it up.

LOGIC:
Point Guard: I will continue to play TJ McConnell until either Tyrese Haliburton comes back or his price hits around 7k. I have also been playing him over Andrew Nembhard as I think McConnell is a much better player. Coming off one of his best fantasy games scoring 56.3 FPs with a 29/5/9 stat line. Triple-double upside when given the minutes as he is all over the court – a “Straight Hustlah”. Last seven days McConnell is averaging 42.9 FPs. Love this matchup against the Thunder who run at a slightly faster pace which gives McConnell a few more opportunities.
Shooting Guard: Looking at a player that has been on fire as of late and had not picked up much ownership. Josh Giddey is averaging 45 FPs over the last seven days and has hit 50 plus FPs in three of the last four games. In one of those game Giddey had a triple-double, in another he just missed by one rebound and one assist. Love this matchup against the Pacers who are in the bottom five in overall defensive efficiency and rank 29th against opposing shooting guards. Expecting another big game from Giddey tonight.
Small Forward: Kyle Anderson continues to play well with little ownership. Last game he put up a triple-double with under 10% ownership on a FOUR game slate. He continues to play well over 30 minutes and gets it done in all categories. News just came in that Rudy Gobert will be sitting out tonight and this makes me like Anderson ever more.
Power Forward: This spot was a decision between three players- all who I think are in really good spots tonight: Marcus Morris, Naz Reid and Jabari Smith Jr. Rudy Gobert will be sitting out tonight, and this would most likely put Naz Reid in the starting lineup. He has a tougher matchup but has the highest upside of the three. The Clippers will be without three of their star players tonight in Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and John Wall opening up over 70% usage. Also opening up a few starting spots. Marcus Morris should slide into the starting lineup tonight against the Jazz who run at +3 pace differential. Also, I have been targeting centers and power forwards against them recently as they have done well. Morris loves to shoot and is a solid rebounder, so I expect him to do well tonight. Looking for around 30 FPs with upside of 40. Lastly, Jabari Smith gets an elite matchup against the Hornets who have been destroyed all year by opposing centers/power forwards. Smith should see time in both of those positions tonight and has upside around 40 FPs. Smith should pick up the least amount of ownership. I listed Morris as the core play as I see his minutes as the safest, but I will be using the other two in lineups as well for their upside. Reid has the higest projection/value of the three.
Center: For the center position I am looking at Walker Kessler AKA “Swats”. He is swatting machine averaging 2 blocks on the year and had games with 6, 7. Kessler has been playing over 30 minutes with Olynyk out and he has delivered. Averaging 43 Fps over the last seven days and coming off a monster game with 20 points and 21 rebounds. This will be a good matchup for Kessler tonight with the Clippers down a few players.
