CBB DFS: The ONIONS – March 8th

All the big tournaments are out in full force tonight on this main slate, but a lot of the bottom feeder teams are in action.

Spots I would focus on the most for DFS are in bold

ACC Tournament

Virginia Tech vs N.C. State (-0.5) … NC State has the better guards, but the Hokies had their scare yesterday with Notre Dame and probably come out hot and fast today.  I can see them winning today.

Boston College vs UNC (-11) … Bacot should have his way on the inside vs BC.  Tar Heels won’t choke here as funny as that would be and certainly in a blowout scenario Pete Nance has a much easier path to getting value than Bacot does while Devin McGlockton (5400) needs to have a big game for the Eagles.

BIG 12 Tournament

Best conference all season long has two games which no doubt will be close.  Every team in this conference is well tested away from home and it’ll simply come down to who shoots the best in the tournament.  I lean Red Raiders and Cowboys today.

Texas Tech vs West Virginia (-4) … Best game stack spot, Harmon, Tyson, Stevenson, Matthews

Oklahoma vs Oklahoma State (-1) … Good value on the OKST side with Tyreek Smith and Kalib Boone being core picks.

SEC Tournament

This conference isn’t good IMO and these teams suck.  I don’t see anyone making much of a run here.

Ole Miss (-6.5) vs South Carolina … This should be all Ole Miss.

LSU (-1) vs Georgia … This game has bad teams and bad value in my mind, but I get wanting to take some shots here if you are desperate – I don’t trust either team that much but won’t argue with Oquendo (UGA) and Reed (LSU) as your value options.

Big East Tournament

Georgetown vs Villanova (-6.5) … Nova wins, probably coers the 6.5 as well.  Look for the Wildcats to ride their core guys and get plenty of easy buckets in transition off forced turnovers.  This could setup well for Caleb Daniels and Cam Whitmore in my mind.

Big Ten Tournament

Minnesota vs Nebraska (-3) … Do not sleep on Nebraska making some noise after they wipe Minnesota out of the gym today.

PAC 12 Tournament

Both games are yucky for DFS

Stanford vs Utah (PK)

Oregon State vs Arizona State (-6)
