CBB DFS: The ONIONS – March 9th (Main)

Evening slate breakdown

ACC Tournament

North Carolina vs Virginia (-2.5)

I saw this game in person down in Chapel Hill, and UNC was able to get wide open 3’s in that game which they took advantage off.  I think UVA gets them back here but I won’t touch the game from a betting standpoint

NC State vs Clemson (Pickem)

Lock in on NC State, like this game for DFS a good amount

BIG 12 Tournament

Oklahoma State vs Texas (-6.5)

Longhorns have too much for Oklahoma State, led by Marcus Carr with SirJabari Rice and Timmy Allen also having good games.

TCU (-2) vs Kansas State

Game of the day from a viewing standpoint.

  • TCU:   Mike Miles, JaKobe Coles
  • KST:  Keyontae Johnson

SEC Tournament

LSU vs Vanderbilt (-4.5)

Vandy is on a roll, LSU is about to go home.  This line should be much higher and the total should probably be higher too…  Prior meeting Liam Robbins was dominant for Vandy, but with him out they’re getting solid prodcution from their guards, who are all sub 6400.

  • Vandy:   Jordan Wright, Tyrin Lawrence, Ezra Manjon
  • LSU:   KJ Williams

Arkansas (-2.5) vs Auburn

I am probably going to just avoid this one for DFS as the guys I would focus on just don’t really fit.  I like Anthony Black a good amount here but lots of other options in and around his price range.

Big East Tournament

Villanova vs Creighton (-2)

Who needs Jay Wright’s tournament wisdom?  ‘Nova is one of my favorite upset picks here today and that 2 point spread tells you all you need to know.  Wildcats win outright.

  • Nova:  Eric Dixon

DePaul vs Xavier (-12.5)

Hard to imagine DePaul showing up two days in a row, but a quick start is imperative against a bad Xavier defense

  • DePaul:  Javan Johnson, Umoja Gibson
  • Xavier:  Jack Nunge

Big Ten Tournament

Penn State vs Illinois (-1)
