Stacks That I Have My Eye On

Below I’ll break down the particular stacks I’m interested and delve into it based on matchup, ability, predicted game script, and collective salary while picking an opposing player or two to run that stack back with if appropriate. *Note: All pricing is DraftKings focused

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins

QB Justin Herbert, WR Keenan Allen Let me first start by saying that this game is going to be chalky and should give plenty of fantasy goodness. The public sees this as the highest total on the board and because people are lazy they will run here. I would be doing you all a disservice if I didn’t at least mention this game and stacking Herbert and Allen. First, Herbert is underpriced relative to what his production could show and Keenan Allen, although priced fairly, should be able to easily navigate through the poor Dolphins secondary, especially one that will be without Jalen Ramsey. Herbert is the number one quarterback on our model and Allen is the number 10 wide receiver. Run it Back: WR Tyreek Hill Coming in with the second-highest projection at wide receiver on our model is Tyreek Hill who could easily be the highest scoring skill position player on the slate. The volume will be there for Hill who saw 12 or more targets in eight games last season.

Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks

QB Matthew Stafford, TE Tyler Higbee One thing we know is that the Rams will be without Cooper Kupp in this game which makes Tyler Higbee very intriguing. Higbee should be a popular value tight end in this matchup, a matchup in which he should be able to exploit. Higbee comes in as our third-highest rated tight end on our model and is priced at just $4,800. Stafford hasn’t developed much of a trust level with anyone in the active passing game for the Rams aside from Higbee. The Rams defense is bad and thus we can expect them to have to throw the ball for much of the second half. Run it Back: WR D.K. Metcalf Metcalf has possibly the best corner matchup on the board this week and comes in with the 10th-highest projection of any receiver. The Seahawks will still want to run the ball because Pete Carrol is a dinosaur, but Metcalf will get his. Metcalf saw nine or more targets in eight games last season.
