Stacks That I Have My Eye On
Below I’ll break down the particular stacks I’m interested and delve into it based on matchup, ability, predicted game script, and collective salary while picking an opposing player or two to run that stack back with if appropriate.
*Note: All pricing is DraftKings focused
Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings
QB Justin Fields, WR D.J. Moore, TE Cole Kmet
This game has all the makings of being a shootout and with Fields and the Bears, the matchup couldn’t be much better. The Vikings’ defense has been brutal to this point especially in the backend allowing a total of 363 yards per game and 24 points per game. Fields has been locking in on D.J. Moore with nine and 10 targets in his last two games coming up with eight receptions in each contest with a monster effort last week (8/230/3). Along with Moore, Fields has looked to Cole Kmet a lot as the tight end has three touchdowns over the last two weeks with five and seven receptions. This stack ranks sixth on our stacks model.
Run it Back: WR Jordan Addison
With Justin Jefferson out for an extended period of time, Addison has a chance to make a mark with extended run starting this week. While a lot of people will look to K.J. Osborn first but I don’t see him having the upside that Addison has. Addison is the 10th-highest rated receiver on our model.
Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals
QB Matthew Stafford, WR Cooper Kupp, WR Puka Nacua
Stafford has quietly been one of the best quarterbacks in the league thus far fantasy as he’s fifth in passing yards and top five in pass attempts. The Cardinals defense is struggling allowing nearly 400 total yards per game, 251 passing yards, and 27 points per contest. We saw last week that there’s plenty of production to go around for Cooper Kupp (12 targets, 8 receptions, 118 receiving yards) and Puka Nacua (11/7/71/1 touchdown). The two top pass catchers for the Rams should have their way with the Cardinals secondary.
Run it Back: WR Marquise Brown
Despite the tough play of late, Brown has seen 10, 7, 10, and 10 targets over the last four games. Hollywood always has that big play upside in what could be a game with a lot of garbage time production.
Also consider:
Detroit Lions at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: QB Jared Goff, TE Sam Laporta – WR Mike Evans
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Jets: QB Jalen Hurts, TE Dallas Goedert, RB D’Andre Swift – WR Garrett Wilson
